Group Orders

Group Buy Rules - Please Read Before Posting!

Group orders are when multiple people purchase items from a vendor at the same time.

Generally the following applies:

  • Organized by a single person.
  • Group orders get reduced or free shipping, depending on the order amount.
  • Possible discount on the merchandise, depending on the order amount.
  • Payment is either through one person, or individually to the vendor.
  • Shipped to one location, and participants must pick up their items.


It is the responsibility of the group order organizer to define the requirements of the order prior to any commitments by the participants:

  • Vendor the order will be from (single web site link is allowed)
  • Order process (inform the organizer or place directly with vendor using a special group code)
  • Payment method (pay the organizer or individually pay the vendor)
  • Order cut-off date/time
  • Minimum group order total (if applicable)
  • Discount levels (if applicable)
  • Discount code (if applicable)
  • Shipping location
  • Pick up time(s) and location(s)
  • Any other pertinent information


It is the buyers responsibility to determine the trustworthiness of vendor and organizer. Such a determination can be aided by the past experiences posted to the forum. Austin Reef Club is not liable for any mishaps with money or merchandise.
