Lol...I didn't expect anyone to want pics yet since I can't hang it until the mounting rails get here. I put up the ones I have so far on my build thread. I just got the one unit. It's all I need over my 18x20" tank...I think!! I'll order another if I can't get the coverage I need.

have you tried plugging the ones that aren't acting up again?

They are on an apex but I have them powered by a regular power strip. I just plugged them in and it tripped. Then I unplugged the one kessil I've been having trouble with and everything has stayed on for about an hour so far. I'm pretty sure it's that light. Time to see how kessil's customer service is with warranty claims. I should be just barely under the 1yr mark.

take the bad kessil to a different gfci and try it there?

Yeup, they are clever how they suck you in at the lower price points and then the first thing you want to do is get some other probe or more outlets as soon as you get your main unit!

As an AI owner, she gets kind of jobbed because there is absolutely no reason to buy a full apex since the you need a VDM to connect to the goofy AI interface cable. I blame AI.

Not exactly sure yet, still reading up on it. I found out it was as low as 6 (yikes) and is at 8.4 now. I've been adding Seachem Reef Carbonate once or twice a day, always testing the water first, and it's ben staying at 8.4. I'm a little puzzled as to why it's stuck there. I prob need to up the dosage, but it seems like a lot to add. And why is my Ca staying high but my alk keeps getting used up? I thought corals take Ca & bicarbonate and combine them? I need to find som...

The pumps I got are Penn Plax Silent Air B11. Pretty small, take 2 D batteries. Got them off Amazon. They take up an outlet spot but it's worth it!

5 minutes? Pellets and flakes I'd guess take a while to show up and the liquid off frozen food should mix in pretty quickly and then it's at least hours before the fish process what they've eaten.
