Chad and Belinda
Chad and I went on the maast collection trip last year. This year we are unable to attend due to the fact that he is working that weekend and cannot take off. We have decided that we were still going to go. We are wanting to go the last weekend in June (the weekend of the 25th). I am gonna start looking into making the arrangements soon and wanted to see if anyone else was interested in joining us. A few things to do while in Port A or nearby: http://www.usslexington.com/ http://www.dolphinconnectiontexas.com/ http://www.texasstateaquarium.org/ http://www.stxbot.org/ There are just a few of the things you can do. There is also the Texas Treasure Casino Cruise, go fishing and not to mention...going to the LFS. If interested, let us know. Should be fun! Rjohn
banana cheesecake - seriously? I must say that does not sound very appealing.
Robb in Austin
Sounds fun. Maybe I can convince The Mrs to make this my birthday trip. We could have a ARC B-Day collection party! @Ric: Hoover's here in town has a banana pudding cheesecake: 2 in tall great cheesecake topped with 2 inches of banana pudding. YUM. JamesL
banana cheesecake - seriously? I must say that does not sound very appealing. It is *really* good! (And so is all their food. I had a shrimp/crab in a spicy cream sauce over bow tie pasta that was fantastic).

Chad and Belinda
I'm down to go for sure! The last time I went it was spur and ended up being high tide (something to account for) also the locations? Do you guys know the hot spots? Sounds great! When we went...we had no problem with high tide. We headed out to the jetty just before dark so that we could see where we were going to be walking on our way back (in the dark). We went all the way out to the end of the jetty...lots of critters. We caught over 100+ peppermint shrimp. The first nite we were out there, we all met up on the beach. We had a bonfire and just hung out. Everyone had such a great time.
tmelhiser
Port A is one of our favorite weekend get aways. I will see if I can get the Mrs. to consider going with a bunch of weirdos like us! The first step will be getting her to come on Saturday. (that may or may not be a selling point to see frenzied fraggers)
