That's awesome! And thanks!

Hopefully there was at least a few tidbits of good stuff on there. Next you must torture yourself and read through FarmerTy's thread. :)

This reminds me, I should probably take some new pictures soon...

Stunning tank for sure, love the top down photos. How's the labouti? I have heard that they can be really aggressive towards other wrasse, they are really cool looking fish though.

Thanks! Labouti was a complete jerk at first but now he's pretty chill. Tons of personality. He occasionally will harass the Scott's, but the Scott's can hold his own.

Yeah the personality shows with that pic above of him hiding in the rocks tongue.png Sounds like you have a good combo with those two. Look forward to some more pics!!

And tonight's fun was brought to you by Die Hard, and Die Hard with a Vengeance.

At least 120 frags... Whew! That was a lot of coral to frag. Hopefully they will all be healed and colored up nicely by May.

Heh... That's not that far away. I would assume some will probably be ready sooner than that, but I want to set expectations that it's likely May before we're happy with them enough to sell.

I'm going to have to get my hands on some of those frags. :)

We are probably at about 90% capacity which may become a problem since the next big swap isn't until May 1...

Well, unfortunately the pink Millepora has had a few of the frags die... This is why we won't sell frags immediately... We want to make sure they are thriving before they are sold.

The good news is that everything else is looking nice. The other 2 milles are looking great, the ice fire echinatas are looking very nice, and our very unusual table looks crazy happy - it's got some of the biggest polyps I've ever seen on an acro. We have even had to frag some of our home grown SPS as a few are starting to get overgrown. Our Setosa was starting to go to battle with our ORA Chips Acro so we couldn't risk the Chips, although it was beating on the Setosa pretty hard. It's really fascinating to see which corals win the battles... So far the Stylophoras seem to be able to kick just about anything's butt.

Speaking of overgrown, anyone looking for a large frag of orange Montipora capricornis? Ours is getting too close to the wall and the magfloat is probably going to hit it if we don't frag soon.

The other interesting thing going on right now is that some of our Zoas have been having a hard time. I'm not sure if it's because of low nutrients - we're only at 1ppm Nitrates right now, or if it's something else bothering them. We've inspected the heck outta them and can't find any predatory critters, nor zoapox. We thought possibly it's a fungal infection so we tried to give many of the frags a dip in Furan 2, followed by hydrogen peroxide. We shall see if that helps. What's fascinating is that it seems to only be affecting certain colonies/frags, not all of them. So while some of the zoas are really unhappy, most are doing great. It's weird, but zoas always are kinda mysterious.

May have to look into that. Thanks. smile.png

Well, I was inspired by a new acquisition to take some pictures of the tank today... Enjoy.

Our new fish - Potters Angel! We've been wanting one for a long time but were too nervous to try... Until now. Hopefully he behaves!!!

The Labouti saw a bristle worm and decided to turn it into a snack!

Indeed! Have no idea where she came from. ;)

She and the coral beauty were not getting along, so we temporarily banished the coral beauty to the sump. Hopefully those 2 will behave because we really want to keep both.
