Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ProI did 4 in the past month to remove any metal contamination in my tank. After discussion with some folks on a larger forum, I may do one water change a year and replace 100% of the volume annually to suppress any build-up over time issues. Wonder if a RO would fit on a vertex.They fit all sizes, you just measure the lid. You can also try to call Vertex and just order the motor. It cost me $50 for the motor but I had to wait until they had a unit that was returned as they don't sell it separately. When I finally came in, it didn't last for more than 1.5 years and died again so maybe go straight to the Avast Marine or Reef Octopus one and not bother with the replacement Vertex.
