  1. ooza is lamed any and every time he logs in or out, its the rules

  2. I've heard a lot of folks buy it online for a reasonable amount. I paid a lot more than I expected from Binswanger years ago for 1/8"x6"x12". I think they asked around $70 for both pieces. I had the Missus order them and pick them up so I still wonder if they overcharged her. Hello Lights sells some nice DE pendants for like $30.
  3. NO! Sorry. Yeah it's kind of a big deal. You will also need to order your glass from a dealer and make sure it comes as tempered. The tempering is done in Houston and takes about 2-5 days to receive.
  4. Robb lets be honest for a sec ok? Would you rather eat your Nori raw or roasted. Thought so. So would your fish.
  5. Robb seriously? I mean come on. What are those, 10g tnaks? I could lift them from side to side if I wanted to make a wave in it. Those are itty bitty tnaks.
  6. That is a really really nice stand and canopy. I should know, I was there when it was built. $300 is probably about what the raw materials would cost you. Everything that was used to build it was furniture grade. Bump for a very nice stand. I would grab it myself if it did not involve draining my tnak and having to reset it all back up.
  7. Most all of the 2 part stick epoxies sold for $5 at HomeDepot are non toxic and are considered reef safe.
  8. It's only like $2 at HEB
  9. I took fresh cut frags from a tank overrun with hair algae. I figured what harm? They were fresh cut and did not have any algae growing on them. Still not sure how but within 2 weeks my tank was ruined. Just something to consider. I'd quarantine them for a month and check constantly while dipping to make sure they are absolutely gone. Then read up on any life cycle and wait out any eggs or cyst periods.
  10. Lol, thats a lot of protection to grow tomatos. I've been secretly hoping the DEA would bust open my doors due to my increased electricity use and that hot spot I call my reef tank.
  11. We see you posting in the forums but are you so lame you cannot multi task on chat and forums at the same time?
  12. Yeah........well..........oh......... Then you might need to start snooping around cause it probably isn't to full. Any hang on eqpt or over zealous powerheads? Just trying to find any other reason for it to not be a seam. But I can't.
  13. Does the tank have an overflow that diverts water to a sump? If not, how high do you keep the water? If the water is to high it can wick over and between the trim. If the silicone that holds the trim on only has a gap in that corner, it may be showing itself over there. If you have a reef ready with overflow and it's still doing that, then chances are the water level is not to high and yeah, bad things afoot. Hopefully you can find it and it isn't a leak.
  14. A skimmer helps tremendously.
  15. Cool beans. I read all 4 pages earlier today. I could see some SPS were doing much better, some maybe were having coping issues towards the last update. I am lost as to why the red LPS is struggling yet your candy canes are ginormous. I get great colors in my tank but I still dabble with a little cyano from time to time and would maybe like them to grow faster. That would be my main reasons for trying the zeo system. I currently run home made 2 part solution through peristaltic dosing pumps as well as MG. The MG doses about once every 3 days and the 2 part doses twice a day, 6 hours between so that the part 1 and part 2 do not collide. My ATO has Kalk in it that gets stirred once a day for 20 minutes by a maxi jet and is allowed to settle for 12 hours before ATO is allowed to run. It's all automated and ran with precision pumps on digital timers. It's been a good system but there is always room for improvement. My main concern is that I don't think I could keep up with dosing 8 products at different intervals. Maybe someday you can Clint can come by and we can scheme about what system would work and how to implement it. I'd consider setting it all up to dose automatically from as many peristaltic pumps and timers as needed. But I'm not making that leap of faith by myself.
  16. Argghh I have to have an account to search. I found your user name but it won't let me look until I log in. Oh well. And I didn't mean for you to pull your link. It's just that an exchange was made about an Ebay link and the final wording was that any links from non sponsors were to be pulled, they pick and choose which ones actually disappear.
  17. I shall try to find them. So since you are running the products, do you feel the money spent is worth it? Could less be spent elsewhere for the same results, IE more water changes?
  18. Be warned that Socaltropical is not a sponsor and thus your link is target for removal. That is a good deal. Are you using all the products or just certain ones? I've been considering running the Zeovit and wanted a reactor but was told by another that I might end up spending $600 or so in ways that could be otherwise beneficial so I backed off. If you are running products, what are you running and what do you think of them? If you are a first time user, what did you order and what were you hoping to the products would do?
  19. Came with a ballast I wanted for spares. Can be yours if you pick it up. A frag is welcomed. SPS, LPS and zoa only. Sorry can't have anything take over my tank. No frag necessary if you can tell me why you need it.
