    My pistol shrimp in the 24g went on a rampage last night and I think moved every piece of sand in the tank. I found my finger gorgonian knocked over and a zoo frag half dragged back to his cave.

    Hope everyone is safe! In our section of the neighborhood, wasn't too bad. But the front of it lots of washed down fences... and downtown Buda was showing some amazing flooding at one point.

    Floor water sensor saved my caboose last night when the RODI sprung a leak at midnight.

      How about some details: where are they located, where is your RODI, what kind of sensor, etc? Maybe a thread is in order. Along with a water change.

      I have my RODI mounted inside of a sink in our mud room. For some reason the water input line seal failed, it it was spraying water on the wall and dripping to the floor. I haven't had the time to investigate more. The sensor was on the floor under the sink. I got them from amazon, some beige looking doo-hickeys.

    I have two 48" BML fixtures I bought from the Dome. I think they are the Reef Spectrum ones. I really like them, and things in the tank have done great (went from 2 150w MH). Some Symposium I have really took off after I added the LEDs. I really like the edge-to-edge lighting I get with LEDs.

    I have been starting to look at controllers, but was leaning towards an Apex because I could directly control the dimming of my BuildMyLED fixtures with it. Any idea if there is a way to also do that with the ReefKeepers?

    I find the power heads that we use in saltwater tanks tend to do more of the shaping of the substrate. Plus there are a lot more fish/snails/stuff that bury and move the substrate around in saltwater tanks... I wouldn't get hooked on what it looks like, because over time it will change.
