  1. Interested in the few small crabs, 1 or 2 peppermint shrimp
  2. I don't have one, but the description lists "Voltage / frequency: 120V / 60Hz." which is an AC source. Manhorsedog, does the plug from the wall go directly into the powerhead? Or is there a small box on the cord between the wall plug and the power head?
  3. I would recommend getting a good book on corals like the "Book of Coral Propagation" by Anthony Calfo. This has lots of pictures on common corrals to help you identify them. It also talks about family, compatibilities, how to care for them, how to frag them, and much more information. There was a thread a few months back on Austin Reef Club about peoples favorite books.
  4. I would like to buy 1 frags green stylo. I would like to pick up 1 small frags green slimer I'm intersted but would like to see first 1 frag polyp teal palys. 1 frag of violet zoas.
  5. I'd like a piece also if any are left.
  6. Might be something to bring to the meeting, fun for newbies.
  7. I'd like to buy the Tubbs Blue. PM sent.
  8. PM sent for Tubs Blue and NG's

    Mag 5

Why does no one look in the WTB section ? Just bought one for 2x the price.
  13. Don't have them, but I saw Britfish using them once. I just wash my hands well with soap and dry them well.
  14. Sorry about your coral. You might want to do something to decrease the heat until you get a chiller. Things I can think of off the top of my head are 1) run your lights less or even consider a day with lights off. This could be beneficial in other ways as well, opinions seem to vary on its benefits. 2) turn your ac down a few degrees during the hottest point 3) by some cheap fans to blow air at the tank. I have a ceiling fan that lowers the tank temp by 5+ degrees when on. I do have an open top tank though.
  15. Still need one, going to buy one next week.
  16. Inquired about Mag 5 and just got email from blindside stating "It was all sold"
  17. Looking for a pump for a 75 gallon. Prefer a Eheim or Mag (Mag-Drive Supreme). LMK if you have one and what you are asking.
  18. I'm interested, but nowhere near ready for one.
  19. Sorry for your loss. LMK when you have your tank back up, I should have a frag or two for you. Also, thanks for posting this. I had seen people talk about using GFCIs, but you always think that it would never happen. Your tragedy made up my mind, next task on setting up my new tank, install GFCI. Just looked a DIY page and for the amount of work required to install one, no question it is worth it. Again, sorry that this happened to you.
  20. You could solve the salt creep by using 3 containers. One large outer one to hold fresh water, on medium one to serve as a barrier for salt creep, and one smaller container to put your saltwater. If you put a cone shaped lid on the large container the evaporated water will go down the sides into the big container.
  21. Just make sure you have any loose frags secured. Turbos are excellent bulldozers as well.
