  1. I’m interested in using an automatic feeder to sprinkle pellets in the daytime while I’m at work. My fish are getting pretty big. I feed frozen daily when I get home. Any brands better than others? Are they a terrible idea? I do not have an apex hooked up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. How dare you call a lemon drop a pest! John, I got ur back ok this. [emoji123][emoji123] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. That’s exactly what mine is doing. Leaning back to the back left corner. I leveled the stand and tank empty, but it’s on carpet and ~2500 pounds all together. It’s about 3/16- 1/4” out of level. The glass is 1” thick. It’s a pretty solid tank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. My 140 has been set up since Labor Day. I lowered the water level a little by adjusting the fittings in the overflow box. Now I can see the water level bc it’s no longer hidden behind the plastic top rim. It’s not level. [emoji15]. I’ve read horror stories on line about it causing stress on the glass. But I don’t know what to do... how to fix it and is it really that important? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yay on the radions!!! I also got lucky and found a super nice guy willing to work with me and sell me his. I have 3 gen 3 Xr30. I LOVE them.... now. Like you, I had trouble setting them up. I even told a tech on about call number three, that something that costs so much money shouldn’t be so difficult to use. [emoji20]. Not his fault. I did apologize, but I was frustrated. Anyhoo, not sure if you have to program yours with a usb cable or not (I did), but I got a reeflink to control the vortech and radions wirelessly and it’s SO bada**!!!! Before because the tank and lights are so high, I had to put my laptop on top of a upside down laundry basket on top of a dinner tray! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]. Quite a mess. I agree with you about the preprogrammed settings being too blue. It was a pain to fix with the usb, but with the reeflink I I can take out the blue and lower the brightness. Mine are only running at 55%. Everything is doing awesome except my cyphastrea and the stylo. [emoji37]. I know cyphastrea don’t like crazy light, so they may be too bright. I’ll probably rent the par meter again so I’ll know. Congrats on the purchase! You will be so happy without the bulb changing, too! Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. I’m sure you’ve already googled, but it says chitons, emerald crab, and an urchin May eat turf algae Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I used fluconazole on my bryopsis/GHA. Worked GREAT! And there was no harm to the corals Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Could I see a pic of the bottom as well? The sump, I mean Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. So, there are no powerheads? Where are the The bubbles coming from? Under sand filtration? Is there a sump? And what kind of lights are you using? How often do you do water changes? I went back to the beginning of this thread to make sure none of those answers were already there, but I didn’t see them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Thank you. I’m so I love!! [emoji175][emoji7]🤤 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. My own Photo dump. LOL My tank is doing pretty good right now. I was very worried for awhile that I wouldn't be able to get the algae problem under control. I've actually added a few SPS to try. So far so good! I really like zoas and LPS, so am super excited to see all these grow out. I will probably redo my rocks cape when things settle a bit. Make some of the rocks into more individual looking structures. Get the SPS closer to the top and make more shadows and caves for my zoas and mushrooms. I'm still running my UV sterilizer. I kept it online bc I have a hippo with ich. No surprise there. I'm also dosing polyp lab medic (since friday last week), with no success. bummer I'm going to have to catch her and QT. She scratches on the sharp tips Of my cerith snails. Im afraid she's gonna hurt herself. I HAVE PODS growing in my sump already!!!! YAY. I thought the UV killed pods and my hippo still has ich, so maybe the UV isn't doing what it's supposed to be doing. ??? I also got a reef link to control my lights and MP40. LOOOVE!! I'm not the best with technology, but when I do figure it out and it works right..... woowee!! So cool. LOL I'm also easily amused. ;-)
  17. Nice. Where will you mix the salt? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. What’s the PayPal add? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I have several large turbo snails I’d like to rehome. They’ve run out of things to eat in my new tank bc the Dinos/cyano are under control. And it’s too new a tank to have algae for them. Let me know if I can bring some to pass along . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Super happy momma!!! . Happy bday present to myself. Lol. . I bumped up the lights one hour (4 hours/day now), still dosing the 5 ml h2o2 every 12 hours. Dialed the skimmer back some. My tank looks so good! All my parameters are in check. Even my po4! Lowest it’s ever been. All my zoas and palys are open. [emoji7][emoji7]. So I love with my tank right now!
