  6. Oh cool! I like that. My WM are only a couple months old, but that one has always done that. I hoped that it would lessen w/ use and/or algae, but no such luck. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hydor koralia smart wave. The fish actually got used to the racket, but I never could bc I "knew" it wasn't supposed to do that.
  8. Nice!! Couple of questions: what's the capped PVC w/the holes drilled in it for; and do u have your hydor wave makers set to run intermittently? I ask bc I have the exact same WM and one of them is so noisy when it starts I jst leave it on all the time. The propeller vibrates up and down and makes a terrible noise. I've tried to take it apart, even wrap the shaft. Nothing works Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Can we see an overall? I've been wanting to see the whole tank, stand, and top. Not jst pieces. I'm curious bc of the dimensions you told me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I was just going to move my current tank when I got my new sofa, but then got to thinking.... Why not jst get a new BIGGER tank! [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. So, 48 is good for you? $650 for a tank, stand, and canopy is a steal! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I'm thinking of getting a new one. Know of one for sale that's also a 75, but can't decide if I want one same length and deeper. I was thinking I wanted longer. I've got another foot of wall to play w/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Bobcat, I've gone back and read the thread and can't seem to find the measurements of your tank? What are the dimensions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. Wow!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Yes, it kind of is [emoji53] but worth it considering the difference in my tank without it. You're topping off with fresh water, right? Yes ma'am. But IF I do do a water chng, I use salt. I have a 5 yo pink leather that I got from a fellow ARC-er, and it tends to droop if I don't do a chng. After talking w/ her, she said that's what makes the leather thrive. All I use is a hose and a bucket... Like I'm stealing gas. [emoji12]. Can do abt 3 gallons and have to fill my sump back up bc my pump starts sucking air. [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Wow! I've been topping off when my sump evaporates, but not significant changes.... It's such a pain in the rear. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Kim, how many gallons do u change each week in your water changes? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I have a 55 gal that cannot be drilled. So, I need a hang on back skimmer.... Any suggestions?

Reef Octopus BH1000 or BH2000. Both are AWESOME. I ran a 2000 on my severely overstocked 55gal and loved it. I have a HOB fuge if you wanted to run one of those as well.

^+1. Great skimmers and can usually find used ones for a good discount off the retail. The BH90 is really good as well.
