  1. Hey Brooks, Yes....it's been awhile, just recovering from lighting issues and some phosphates I neglected to keep in check, but for the most part everything is coming along...nice and steady.
  2. How's the growth rate on that German blue acro? It's been awhile since I've seen anyone local post a pic (GB).....Very Nice!
  3. Here's my strawberry chalice I got from Dave & Robin. Using it as my avatar....one of the many more to come.

    RBTA clone

I just had to ask: This RBTA is pretty in coloration. What's the lighting your using on your tank?
  7. + On Derek's post......if they're from the same genus....most likely they will fight. I have a small sailfin tang that instigates a brawl with the purple tang. The purple tang is larger than the sailfin....and still wants to show the PT whose the boss. We have another fish that keeps these 2 fish from killing each other....that's my Acanthurus Dussumieri (this is just from personal observation), he is very passive----you could say he's "the cooler" . I've seen yellow tangs being territorial (the aggressive side) and the passive....and I believe it comes down to the environment you provide: the size of tank, how your aquascape is placed, good nutrition and what other inhabitants you might add on to the community. -Cindy-
  8. Nice shots...I like the nuclear green palys......I'll bet they look great next to those purple palys. -Cindy-
  9. One Purple Death Paly frag left----$20 for 3 polyp frag.
  10. You're very welcome and thanks again for the purchase. Sorry about all the commotion with my kid......this was past beyond allergies and he might have asthma....further diagnosis is in the process, but thanks for the input on the dairy products. This whole thing with severe allergies and asthma is new to me. Can you believe there's even activity induce asthma----that's what my 17 yr. has now and we just found out because she does sports all year round. Silly things!!!! -Cindy-
  11. Yours are sure growing all over that rock you got them on. Thanks Dave!
  12. I'm not gonna lie to you....its going to take alot of tweaking adjusting the flow on those koralias to get the right flow. It would help if they were controlled by wavemaker...that would be the easy way. Have you tried getting to collide the currents? Maybe you need to bring koralias closer to the corners, so you'll be able to aim them @ different angles and at the same time adjust your returns.
  13. Are you able to post a pic and shows us where you're placing them. This will probably give us a better understanding about your tank and aquascape you got. -Cindy-
  14. 3 Frags of Purple Death Palys for sale: Frag #1---3 polyps---$20. Frag #2---4 polyps---$25. SOLD Frag #3---4 polyps---$25. SOLD Thanks for looking. -Cindy-

That's what you want them to feel, comfortable, and when they least expected...they're trapped. Now to enjoy your new wrasse. Mark, you're more than welcome to use the trap. -Cindy-
  16. UPDATE I also have 3 small frags of Purple Death Palys, will start a new thread.
  17. They're cute.....Robert says they remind him of an underwater elephant (because of the snout), and their large shell.....the move slow. And you can see their little bitty eyes (you swear they're looking at you) . -Cindy-
  18. Thanks Don for stopping by.......Now I need to check out your tank....thanks for the invite. Talk to you soon. Still available: 4 mushrooms for $10.---SOLD
  19. Hey Dale, Cindy here, WOW!! you sure weren't kidding about going larger. You've been busy.....can't wait to see the progress. Hey, those 2 guys look familiar....Oh yeah!! Don and Michael, that's where they've been hanging around all this time.....they look too happy, better put them to work . -Cindy-
  20. Welcome to the club!
  21. On the Milwaukee instruction booklet it states to swirl and not shake---this produces air bubbles that can give inaccurate readings. Plus, my husband makes it a point I swirl not shake.
  22. I don't know too much about the Hanna meter, but we have a Milwaukee phosphate meter and the regent has to be dissolved completely before placing the vial in the meter to get an accurate reading. Dissolving the regent (powder like) is the part that takes a little more time then anything else. -Cindy-
  23. One the 1st video...I thought for sure it was going to snatch that person's hand. 2nd video....that's awesome.....and check out the color on that starfish.
