@Brooks--I guess I'll have to get some sensor, although my next door neighbor is rigged with the all around the property--pretty well lit.

You might want to ask Dapettit....I think he has the branching hammer...and if I'm not mistaken, he has a large colony. It wouldn't hurt to ask them.

Very Sweet Deal on the Tyree WM chalice.....I got mine already and I can't wait for it to grow.....it really has beautiful coloration and it will stand out from other surrounding corals. Nice find.....

They're a pale pink....almost like flesh like skintone w/green centers. This is how they use to look and now, they seem deflated , which makes me wonder why they're not like that anymore. As you can tell on the previous post, about Bryan, his are looking much better then they were in my tank. -Cindy-

I was wondering the same on how long should someone wait to turn the skimmer on. I went to the website and read their PDF files (the lable) and it doesn't mention nothing about when to use the skimmer and how long should it be before doing a water change.

I had a tiger tail sea cucumber in my 36g bowfront seahorse tank for about 3 yrs. It split and gave the clone to Dapettit. One issue I encounter, my maxijet I had in for flow (I completely forgot to add a sponge over the cage)....the cucu ended in the pump...shredded and of course, didn't make it. Did a 30% water change and the seahorse, gobies and corals had no ill effect....everything checked normal. The following day I did a 10% water change, just to make sure...everything seemed fine. Now remember, I have no idea on how long the cucu was stuck to the pump....so for all I know it could of been there overnight. I still have 4-5 cucumbers in the main tank and had them for over 4yrs. with no issues whatsoever. -Cindy-

Large Duncan Colony with over 35+ heads for sale $150....This colony is not the branching kind, it is tightly clustered. When fully expanded it's about the size of softball. My Acans have not been happy for a long time (they use to be puffy....yes, they've added growth but are not puffy like they use to) Acan w/ 8+ heads $50 OBO Got this one from a Vivid order and paid more than $70 with just a few heads. ---SOLD--- Acan w/ 7+ heads, got this one at RCA. $40 OBO. According to Julian Sprung book of "Invertebrates --A Quick Reference Guide"---Its says that is a good herbivore in marine aquariums and reproduces prolifically. It mainly feeds on algae, but also eats tissue from hard and soft corals, so it cannot safely be housed in a live coral aquarium. Desirable/undesirable features: Useful in marine aquariums w/o live corals. Not reef safe. Food: Herbivorous. Filamentous algae, cyanobacteria and diatoms. Also feeds on coral tissue.
