This tank would make a great frag tank since its shallow and this comes with a cheap 2x4 stand (just the framing) and casters.----PENDING PICKUP 1-Penguin Mini Bio-Wheel Filter 100GPH-----asking $10 Will post pics of the tanks tomorrow and will check the bio-wheel filters (just to make sure they're in working conditions). Thanks for looking. -Cindy-

  7. I've only order corals from The Reef Hot Spot, very satisfied customer, but you might want to check their site. There seems to be a difference in what is considered the Japanese Swallow Tail Angel (Genicanthus semifasciatus) and the Swallowtail Angel (Genicanthus melanospilos). These is what they look like, both males: Genicanthus semifasciatus --Japanese Swallowtail Genicanthus melanospilos --Swallowtail Which one were you looking for? -Cindy-
  8. Wrasse tend to be a little skittish and you should give it time for the wrasse to adjust. Now, if you see a lump under the sand----I've done this-- I try to scoop the fish by hand just to make sure it was still alive, once I knew it was there, it either buried itself again or come out swimming. Back then we use to have a pair of coris wrasse and radiant wrasse....we normally could tell where they buried themselves by the look of the sand.
  9. Your welcome....target feed them (cyclopeeze & mysis) if you the polyps to grow bigger & quicker.
  10. I have a 3 polyp frag for $20 if you're interested. -Cindy-
  11. Porcelain crabs are neat to have and fun to watch. Feeding is accomplished instead by combing planktonPlanktonPlankton consist of any drifting organisms that inhabit the pelagic zone of oceans, seas, or bodies of fresh water. Plankton are defined by their ecological niche rather than their phylogenetic or taxonomic classification... and other organic particles from the water using long seate (feathery hair or bristle-like structures) on the mouthparts, where they will later be scraped off and consumed into the mouth. Don't know if you have any SPS and don't know if acropora crabs are available in the market....but one of the neat things about getting an SPS--if you get lucky you'll get one nestling in the coral. I have several of those crabs and they stand out because their mainly white and you can see them reaching out for food that goes by as the fish get their feeding for the day.
