  3. Awesome little creatures.....great video!!.....we're fortunate to have marine biologists coming in contact with new sealife. Thanks for sharing.
  4. @ Andrew..you should post pics of BEFORE & AFTER.

  5. +1 on Sexy shrimp....how about Eviota Goby or Greenbanded Goby. Also don't know if you can keep a barnacle blenny...it might get too big for a pico.
  6. As long as he doesn't develop some kind of allergic reaction, your more likely to use them faster than you think. My kids (all 3) couldn't handle the fragrance the manufacture add to the wipes. "Frangrance Free" was the only kind of wipes I could use---no matter what brand.
  7. Mark...you forget this is an never ending project, you'll still be overseeing the progress....even after he's 21....you just can't help yourself. Kind of like a saltwater tank .
  8. Congrats to both of you!! He's cute....how much did he weigh?
  9. Yep!! That's a favia. Another member and I got the wrong baggy, so now we need to switch and everything will be squared off.
  10. Hey Michelle, This is what I brought home today. The one on the left is for sure the chalice I wanted...not the favia.

  12. For those of you who order the "Crazy Frag Pack for $100" from AquaSD...do any of you mind posting pics of your frags with ID.
  13. Google Collonista snails.....from what I read, they're reef safe and eat algae. They tend to come out more at night but you'll get to see a few during lights on. We have them in our tanks as well.
  14. Love the anemones....they're so colorful. I can't seem to see clownfish in there...do you have any in there? Thanks for posting FTS. -Cindy-
  15. I hope it gets better....nothing more disheartening then to see it trying to eat and starve to death. I went through something similar with my seahorse (lock jaw disease) and it was so frustrating. Good Luck!

    Duncans swaying

Thanks...everyone that has seen them; think it's an anemone...because of they way it sways.
  17. Aww! She's precious...congrats on your new addition. How about Lilly?
  18. I'm guessing you could always go for a 10K and once you get the growth you aim for...you can later switch to 14k's or 20K's to get them to color up. Or supplement with T-5's later on (just for the color).
  19. 1) I believe that is Anthelia aka waving-hand coral (is it matted on the rock?)...xenia has a stalk or trunk with smaller branching/extending polyps. 2) +on the kenya tree (capnella sp.)
  20. What food did you place in the trap...for enticement. Have you tried a piece of krill or table shrimp?
  21. *STILL AVAILABLE* 1 mini-colony Blastomussa Merletti---$25 1 frag of green slimmer, its over 2" in length (this is not the bali slimmer, but darker green and when it puts out new growth it has baby blue tips)--$10. 1 frag of unknown scroll coral---$10 1 mini colony of unknown zoas---$10
  22. Melissa....I know is disheartening to see things go downhill but you hold on and take James (seahorsejl) offer...I would of offered but I'm on the other end of Austin. If things don't make it....Don't get discourage and try again, I know it's easier said then done but you'll make that hurdle...with the good advice from our fellow reefers. Good Luck -Cindy-
  23. It was nice meeting both of you (didn't mean to keep you up late), I warned you about my husband LOL. We hope everything goes well with the frags and just remember to do your weekly water changes, check your calcium and magnesium levels as well.
  24. Eanima, anemia, anatomy...which is it?....I'm confused now ...this is too funny. Derek where do find this vids?
