  1. Somehow I never commented on this; magnificint! Another TX5 fan. Really like your ric farm too.
  2. I like the QT/DT water change idea. I would suggest that you rinse the QT in FW before adding DT water; just to clean the QT of any potential issues already there. Maybe let it soak overnight.
  3. The only thing SS or Meyers do(good?) is sausage. The rest is ok. But Crosstown....mmmmmm.
  4. Let me visit then, and mounted somehow would be great! Could use some Crosstown BBQ!
  5. That works too. Do you mount them to plugs/rubble or will they be loose?
  6. I'll try to swing out that way next week, during the day. Would like 20 Kedd's if you can do it. I'll prolly bring more money in case there is something else I see I can't live without. Let me know what day/time works for you; I'm free Mon-Thurs.
  7. 3rd pic, red/blue zoos. Must. Have. Some. How much? Be there in 30min.
  8. In that case, I'd suggest either a DIY T5 setup or a used T5 unit such as a TEK or Nova Extreme Pro. Either should be fine for growing macro, and you could use the GE daylight lamps which you should be able to get reasonably cheap($15 per at Reefgeek). I'd only replace them when they burn out too, should be able to get a year out of them.
  9. I'd recommend spending a bit more and getting a RODI unit, unless you are talking about the RODI on that page. Ideally, you want the DI vertical vs horizontal. Check BRS or Buckeye Field Supply for their options.
  10. I lost a big, beautiful RBTA to a powerhead once, sometime overnight; woke up to a tank that looked like a quart of milk was poured into it. No losses other than the nem.
  11. Check their forum on RC. Might get some help tonight.
  12. Agree with the lights out for now. Good luck.
  13. Would like to get some for my fuge. Cheato and/or dragons breath would be nice.
  14. Outside as in in the garage or as in outdoors? If outdoors, why? Look into garage lights from home depot/lowes.

    CUC

This is an open challenge to our LFS sponsors. Looking for a CUC, would prefer a large variety of snails(trochus, cerith, astrea) and a bunch of emerald crabs, at a good price. What do y'all have in stock, or coming in the next day or two?
  16. Oooooooo, tankwarming party. Me likey idea!
  17. Touche. Here is the FTS, non white balanced, with initial aquascape. We've already moved the frogspawn to the upper right, pushed the GSP rock on the far right over more, moved the galaxea to the center, moved the rics to a rock, and moved the zoa farm to the left next to the clams.
  18. They have a fantastic fish selection today as well.
  19. Done! Will post pics a bit later. So far, everything is happy. I managed to get 99% of the Anthelia and Xenia out.
  20. The general recommendations are for a HOB that has been running for some time on an established system to seed it, some pvc pipes for hiding, and a basic light. Doesn't need to be huge, just big enough to house fish.
  21. @Mike; uh...no. @Hydro; moved more over over that last few days. All is well.
  22. Nice to meet you and your fam too! Thanks for your service as well!
