  1. Check their forum on RC. Might get some help tonight.
  2. Agree with the lights out for now. Good luck.
  3. Would like to get some for my fuge. Cheato and/or dragons breath would be nice.
  4. Outside as in in the garage or as in outdoors? If outdoors, why? Look into garage lights from home depot/lowes.

    CUC

This is an open challenge to our LFS sponsors. Looking for a CUC, would prefer a large variety of snails(trochus, cerith, astrea) and a bunch of emerald crabs, at a good price. What do y'all have in stock, or coming in the next day or two?
  6. Oooooooo, tankwarming party. Me likey idea!
  7. Touche. Here is the FTS, non white balanced, with initial aquascape. We've already moved the frogspawn to the upper right, pushed the GSP rock on the far right over more, moved the galaxea to the center, moved the rics to a rock, and moved the zoa farm to the left next to the clams.
  8. Done! Will post pics a bit later. So far, everything is happy. I managed to get 99% of the Anthelia and Xenia out.
  9. The general recommendations are for a HOB that has been running for some time on an established system to seed it, some pvc pipes for hiding, and a basic light. Doesn't need to be huge, just big enough to house fish.
  10. @Mike; uh...no. @Hydro; moved more over over that last few days. All is well.
  11. Nice to meet you and your fam too! Thanks for your service as well!
  12. got ya covered. free even. just gotta come get it. light pink, pulses in the frag bag.
  13. It's all part of why we are here. I'd venture to guess all of us have been in the exact same position. But, thanks for saying it and you're welcome!
  14. Yup. Added another rock, plus two fish. Will keep up with the Stability and slow additions.
  15. @etannert; if there was a "like post" button, I'd like your post. @Derek;
  16. Model and ideas of what you are looking for will help
  17. I've been slowly adding to the tank over the last 4 days. Current inhabitants are 2 snails, 1 plug of zoos, 1 small rock with 2 rics on it, my galaxea, and an acan rock courtesy of Mark. I noticed some algae growing on the sand as well.
  18. Well, yes, that works. (I was a bit hesitant to post about the SG simply because evap will take care of it.) The other method would be to mix up your water change water at a slightly higher SG and let them average each other out. You'd have to take a reading of the DT water first obviously to know what you are starting with.
  19. Yay! We're back!

all questions should be direct to Robb's agent.

  20. No water changes during the cycle. Once it's done, then a small one is in order, say 10-20%. I'd also recommend tweaking your salinity closer to 1.026, although you're not far enough way for it to be a problem. Also, once the cycle is over, don't add anything. Other than a tiny amount of fish food to keep the bacteria alive. You'll be surprised at what will come out of the rock in terms of lifeforms. I'd recommend waiting, which will be difficult, at least a month before adding any animals be they fish, inverts, or corals.
