    The fish will probably be fine. I'd be more concerned with the corals. Just be careful and observant and be ready for a water change.

    Let it cycle. Baring that, a water change and some type of ammonia locking product such as Amquel/Ammo lock/Prime, etc. You might also try one of Mark's favorite products: Stability.

    I'd do small, about a gallon, every day. Why did you start the abx though? Simply due to a cloudy eye?

    One other consideration, and you probably already have, is that most lights are in even number lengths. Also, glass lengths are pretty standard, so a 6 foot long tank may be cheaper than a 5 footer. Just trying to help.

    Manual removal, a blenny(though mine never touched it), phos absorber of some kind, increased water changes, avoid flake food, and check the age of your lamps. All will help. Is the rock old? I think some of my issue is related to old rock which has absorbed too much PO4 and is releasing it. If all else fails, borrow Mike's skimmer.

    Don't forget DSA. One thing with the Elos, the price generally includes everything(tank/stand/sump/plumbing/skimmer) except lights so the overall total cost may be somewhat even. I think Kingfish can get them, if you go that route.
