    Scott's Wrasse

About 4" and in great health. This fish was not getting along with my flame wrasse so I had to make a choice. He's in my QT tank and ready to go to his new home! He was not being cooperative when I tried to take his picture so this is the best I've got:
  5. It helps trap bubbles from the skimmer, and because there is no nneed to trap bubbles coming into the left chamber in my opinion
  6. I like the second post or else option two in the first post. The ATO is nice to have. That's big enough to go a couple of days between refills probably for that size tank.
  7. Sorry I missed this and should have mentioned earlier @LonghornReefer but the forum rules do require that you list an asking price for your item
  8. This will be good! Your livestock selection will be incredible
  9. Good luck! Algae can take a lot of patience to conquer ...
  10. I try to clean all powerheads monthly. Other pumps it's more like annually, or if there is a noise
  11. Glad to hear things are doing better! Everything in the photos looks really good (except the boneyard of course)
  12. Hmmm, something does not seem right. I'm guessing you have a lot of organics in the water that are not detectable by the API tests. Hopefully others might ave some thoughts
  13. What are your nitrate and phsophate readings?
  14. You are seeing the green algae become hard within 24 hours? As in coralline algae hard?
  15. My understanding is that the precipitation happens because of the ph difference between the highly concentrated dosing solution and your aquarium water. The dosing solution is much higher ph than your aquarium water. Mixing salt probably does not have this happen because things are at pretty much the normal concentrations and PH is probably neutral in rodi water. http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2005-07/rhf/index.php#4
  16. Retails for $299, never been opened ...
  17. Haha. No doubt Mike will bring in some vendors that have lots of LPS and zoas too
  18. Well I have been making frags for 6 weeks in anticipation of this
