  1. Better safe than sorry.
  2. Those are some awesome pictures taken with that contraption. I will wait for it to show up in the ARC store
  3. The above is really good. As a current iPad owner I do not plan on getting and iPad 2. We have iPhone 4's that work great for video conferencing. Not really sure I would want to be holding an IPad to video conference. That is a good price Brooks is offering. (Typed from my IPad)
  4. I need shades just to look at the last pictures Looking really nice!
  5. Nice. I think your topic title is a good name for it.
  6. One news web site is saying the rolling blackouts are supposedly done for today. Edit: new story
  7. Doubt it ... or at least not fully charged.
  8. They seem to only be lasting about an hour (well with Pedernales at least). I wasn't worried about it, especially since ours happened this morning before the lights even came on. I would just make sure all your pumps and what-not come back on.
  9. In honor of Valentines Day (you do remember that is coming up, right guys? ), the category for February is: Red The rules are simple: Images must be taken by you. Images must be reef/fish related (i.e. from an aquarium or ocean). Submit your photos to the contest gallery here. Submissions close at midnight February 15th.
  10. pbnj wins by a hair! Congrats! I will get a February contest started in the next few days.
  11. I realize it is in a quarantine tank, but maybe some chunks of live rock for it to pick things off of?
  12. I'd say leave them ... I am also in the snail egg camp.
  13. Hmm.. i agree, that does look like it might be photosynthetic. Though what type of lighting do you have? It might do ok in the sand bed if the lighting is strong enough.
  14. Getting close to the end of the month. If you have not voted, now is the time to do so.
  15. I suspect pretty low that it would wipe out a tank. Just keep an eye on it it. If it's mouth starts to gape or it won't stay attached to anything, then I would pull it.
  16. My post from the other thread: I have a Scopas and a Twinspot Bristletooth Tang in my 75g. While not the brightess of the tangs, they are neat. My Scopas has gone ulta-shy recently, but my bristletooth is very nice. A pale browny-blue. And thusly, I have no algae eating snails in the tank
  17. Try an ice cube on the back of it's foot that is sticking through the intake grate. This might irritate it enough to move or at least let go.
  18. Pics or it didn't happen! (sound familiar? ) Ok, yes I saw you said pictures later ... had to razz
