    Updates!!!

Yes, they do look much better now I was just a little scared of the gaping they were showing in the first picture.
  5. Hmm.. with the two tangs I have in my tank, I have never had issues with ich. But maybe because they are a harder breed? I have a scopas (same family as your sailfin) and a twinspot bristletooth. And yay for the first water change

    Updates!!!

You might want to move those acans to the sand bed and slowly raise them up into the rockwork over a matter of weeks, in order for them to adjust to your new lights. They look a bit stressed in the picture, and LPS in general do not like super bright lights.

    WTB duncans

You might also check out/contact Austin Aqua Farms. When I was was up there a month or so ago, they had single heads and a few multiple head duncans. I picked one up for like $5/head (I think ... but can't remember).
  11. Hmm.. it still does sounds like cyno. I wonder if it has become resistant to the red slime remove. Like Hamp said, maybe try increasing the flow. Also you might cut your light cycle back some (does it seem to go away at night?). And maybe dial back on feedings?
  12. I really liked what you did with your old 65g mixed. The design was very unique. The new 65g coral looks fantastic!
  13. Last call for Feb. Photo Contest Entries!

  14. Just a general note to everyone, if you are serious about purchasing contact the seller offering a different price or ask questions. Further comments of the price of the tank or description will be removed without notice.
  15. I believe this is the role of the blogs section. I would tend to side with Will on this, in that we don't have much traffic in the photography section as is. ARC is such a diverse group of people and tank sizes, that if you ask a question in any of the forums everyone is going to see it and be able to respond. Plus a lot of photography stuff applies to both small and large tanks.
  16. JamesL are you listening. This is a great Idea! I think the last tank of the quarter was a solana. Not a nano but pretty close. Dave- Great idea for a future photo contest. Keep an eye out for it in the coming months
  17. I was using Reef Crystals for a long time. Then tried a bucket of Red Sea Pro. This last trip to the LFS they didn't have it, so I got a bucket of Oceanic (I think - blue bucket) to try out.
  18. Yuck. Good luck getting it back up and running quickly.
  19. Two days left ... I am sure there are more submissions out there!
