Well, I confirmed again today that 55g tanks are tempered, apparently on ALL sides. I blew one a while back trying to drill the end panel. Today I imploded another one trying to drill the back. I'm just going to build the dang tank I want and be done with it.

You know it's time to thin the fuge when you drop a large piece of rubble in there, and it DOES NOT sink. My chaeto is like steel wool, ridiculous.

What in the world possesses people to think that they MUST pass that truck running in 4wd with their 2wd car, on an icy highway, going way too fast? This, I do not understand. And they have the nerve to act surprised when they find themselves in the ditch.

I got aggravated at the substrate in my 40br frag tank. I drained the tank and took it out. Now it's bare bottom. So there.

My tuxedo urchin is trying to steal my welso this morning. It's bigger than he is, but he has managed to get under it. Now I have to take it away. His fashion accessories always crack me up.

Fed the tanks tonite. Claude the zebra moray got too excited and came out of the tank like a scud missile. Eels are hard to pick up off the floor. Animated snot, with teeth.

Ugh! I know me a house dog that needs a bath. Tomorrow is supposed to be warm enough, her big, smelly self is going to be tortured with soap and water.

I've got my stuff ready for the MAAST frag swap at the end of this month. Who else is going?

Explain this to me. How is it that I can set up a new frag tank to go with the older frag tank. Move some frags around and I still don't have any room??? They are now BOTH full. What's going on here? Now I have to find a place for my new goodies that are coming in Wednesday (Clint and Kevin gonna be jealous!)

I went into the bathroom this morning.....squish. Wait a minute, tile floors do NOT go "squish". But they do when you have a water leak at the shower valve, and the water has gotten under the tile and backerboard. Tearing out a tile floor, not the way to start a day.

Nothing quite like waking up to a herd of cows in your yard. They've wandered towards the back of my place, so at least the dogs have settled down. Cows before coffee, that ain't right.

Had a ball at the frag swap. It was nice to finally put faces to names And thanks to everyone who offered to help when my frag tank unceremoniously sprang a leak. All my new frags are beautiful!

Got the last of my stuff ready for the frag swap. I may need a bigger frag tank Also dragged out the 12g nano and stand to take for the swap, since I don't need it anymore.

I'm so happy! First night for my injured pup to be off her pain meds, and she seems very comfortable. Well, other than being aggravated at her cast.
