Would anyone be interested in splitting the 6-frag Assorted Acropora Frag Pack for $116? It ends up <$20/frag. I was thinking we flip a coin to see who gets to pick first then we alternate choosing, then after they grow out some, we give the other person a frag. Vivid's stuff is always awesome one can't go wrong with random pickings.

I picked up this aqua mag rock from Wizard, and it's too big for my tank I'm looking to trade for one with a smaller footprint. This one holds 18 plugs and is 12x6x2. Lmk what you have. Fyi it's on top of a 12" tile in these pics:

well, i don't mind being the "administrator". i'm central, and pretty accessible. but once again we can figure the details once we get the necessary headcount. -
well, the thought is the backup unit would become that person's main unit, and the refurbished one becomes the backup. the problem with returning the original backup unit back to being the backup is that we wouldn't know if it's 100% functioning, whereas the repaired one should be returned 100% functional from Neptune (i still need to confirm if they do completing testing beyond verifying that the original defect was fixed). any one else have ideas on handling of the "returned" backup unit? btw, i was gonna keep track of serial #'s to ensure which unit is which.

Excellent question! My immediate thoughts is a departing member could sell his position in the co-op, but i'm open to your suggestion or any other regarding this general arrangement. I'm just trying to be resourceful.

Btw, this is more of a warranty type arrangement where we end up with a refurbed unit. See my thoughts in comment #14.

If we were able to recruit enough people, we could make this happen with little investment from each of us. At 4 people, it's a ~$50 buy-in. At 10, it's only $20. I'm in no matter what. I've already got one member signed up if we get 4+, and another if we get 8+. Any others? Mitch

Hmm, probably not something I would do as it's not really an equitable arrangement. I would be investing the $200+, while borrow(s) have minimal/nonexistent cost to have access. What one buys into IS the access, and that's why I had hoped ARC could maybe take this on as it would be another great benefit for being a member.

Well, it seems my pH port 2 just failed! This is what controls my CaRx. Anyone want in on "sharing" a backup? I'm hoping to find maybe 4 or 5 of us, so it would cost ~$50 to have access to a backup.
