  1. Picture a golf ball with spines. perfect. i'll take one. i'll pm contact info and we can figure out the handoff etc.
  2. sorry, but decent = ?
  3. i'm interested in one of your tuxedo urchins. about what size is it? and how long has it been in your tank? lastly, what's your timeframe to get rid of things, eg will you be at the frag swap? i prefer not having to drive to buda =(
  4. Fyi, the WXM is intended to control the Ecotech Vortech wirelessly, not to connect to a wireless access point. Apex only has wired capability. My suggestion is to find a DD-WRT capable router and configure it as wireless client. For example, you can get this refurb unit for $32 (listed on slickdeals.net this past FRI): Cisco Linksys E2000 Wireless N Dual Band (not simultaneous) 4-Port Gigabit Router DD-WRT/Tomato Compatible (refurbished) $32 + Free Shippingat Digital Etc $32

    Water Barrels

Austin Home Brew sells their 55g barrels which held syrups etc for $10ea. Some have removable lids, some just the bung holes.
  6. haha... your subject line reads "FREE", when it should read "FRESH"
  7. @mark, that yougetsignal site is handy!... obviously my port 8888 is open, but i spot checked others, and they were closed... please post what you learn from AT&T @mike, if you direct everything to 443, how do you redirect to the intended target?
  8. minor detail for using services like dyndns... from within your network, you will need an "update" client to post your dynamic IP to dyndns' system... this means either a router which has this capability built in, eg dd-wrt, or a computer that is always on (or at least a regular basis) running this client... @mark, as a data point, i do not have AT&T U-verse... just regular DSL... config details... SpeedStream DSL router <wired> Linksys WRT54GL w/ dd-wrt <wireless> Dell TrueMobile 2300 w/ dd-wrt <wired> Apex...

    Chillers for sale

wouldn't a 1-ton be overkill for a 90g tank w/ 6 T5HO bulbs, external return, and 2 vortechs? i was thinking the 1/2-ton was definitely gonna be plenty.
  10. you still owe me one for the timer too seriously, whatcha need help with? btw, do you use http://www.reeftronics.net/ ? if not, check it out!
  11. yes, i have AT&T DSL, and, yes, i can access my Apex remotely. i'm using dyndns and ddwrt. i'm using port 8888 externally and port forward to Apex's default port 80. i also use a static IP for the Apex.

  14. +1 for Jake and the RCA crew!
  15. so people don't show up and come back empty handed... i went to RCA's FRI night sale, and picked up my 4 buckets, so 11 left...
  16. @medi, last time, we just tallied total count, and paid RCA individually at the time of pickup. @don, can you find out the lead time for RCA to get these in? @all, how about we set a drop dead date, say SUN midnight, for people to commit and we can submit to RCA MON morning?
  17. Mitch - 4 buckets of Coralife (could do more if we don't hit the 20 mark)
