The edit bar isn't showing up on my ipad2 when trying to post. So I can't post photos, irks, or alter text. Help please?

This is in safari. I can't stand the new tapatalk so it's not on my ipad.

Can any ipad users running safari confirm? I don't have the browser or device to troubleshoot.

I was just updating my dive site list, and when I saved it it blew up. Sucked the motivation out of continuing to edit. I was using MSIE v 10.0.9 on a Win 7 machine.

Fixed. Not sure what the issue was but somehow you generated invalid html (it was adding a space after the first character of html tags and characters like "<"). Sorry about the issue, please let us know if it recurs. That said, I really don't recommend that anyone use IE ....

I think a Pico sub forum in tank builds would be a good idea.

I like that idea, I could put my current build into it.

I prefer to keep the reef threads in one section since our members really do range across the spectrum of tank sizes. We currently have a forum specifically for tank builds here. Since this contest has ended it might make more sense to close this thread and start new topics back in the Build or Reefkeeping forums.

Having numerous sub-categories tends to confuse newbies about where the proper place to post is and doing so creates a lot of clean up work for the mods. The ability to add tags provides a further way to filter and sort content. The previous sub-forums we've created don't see a lot of activity these days (seahorses, lagoons, contests). In general if we see traffic trending to justify such a section or sub-section we'll create one, but we try to wait until we see a true need for it. I've noted the request and will continue to watch it.

I suspect at some level, everything we do is going to kill us. Burn your hamburger on the grill-- you die. Drink too much coffee or cola-- you die. Breathe too much NYC air-- you die. Take too many or too little prescription meds-- you die. Smoke cigs, drink alcohol-- you die.

The problem is understanding exactly how serious the risks are. I do sleep in the next room while my printer 'grows' stuff. Last night it built a new cable clip for my aquarium which clamps to the side of the sump and helps organize all the power cables. Even so, I typically use the printer 2 days every couple weeks-- and the prints are much smaller than the picture in that article-- so I'm hoping I'm OK.

I'm curious, did the printer "manual" include any such warnings?

For the last few days I've been having trouble attaching files to my forum posts. Some files upload fine, but when I try to add another i get "upload failed". The files have been *.jpg between 100K and 600K. I just tried to upload a picture and it wouldn't go up. I submitted the post then "editted" it and was able to upload the photo without a problem.

Anyone else having this issue? Maybe people are just tired of my photos ?

LOL, but let's bring it back into line guys. Family-friendly....

A few weeks ago I noticed that when I copy-and-paste into a post it adds extra line breaks. It makes it really ugly and annoying and time consuming trying to fix it. Even when I copy from one post to another (I started a new post then realized it should be added to an existing thread, instead). I'm using Firefox 21.0 on a Win7 laptop.

Does it do it if you copy from one post to Notepad or Wordpad and then to the new post?

The issue seems to have resolved. I was able to comment a minute ago without being introduced to myself.

BTW, how many pics can be posted at a time? I'm having an issue with that now

It's more about the size and total size of the pics rather than the quantity.

I try to avoid the whole self awareness thing. If I got to know myself, I might not like me.

I think the thing is busted.

Victoly had this issue the other day but then it resolved for him. Tapatalk has been updated to the lastest version and shows as working (http://www.austinreefclub.com/mobiquo/push.php) as well as I can send/receive from my phone using it. Can you reboot your phone, if that doesn't work, try re-installing your app and let me know what you see.
