OK so what did your controller run you? My $10 fan is keeping my tank at about 80 or so. I have putting in about 2.5 to 3 gallons a day. Sometimes I do turn it off at night. My AC is set to 82.

I had problems with MAAST management and withdrew my membership. What I did was mention that I found an item on EBAY, gave the search criteria I used to find it, and they deleted my post. I did not post a link of any sort. That was way too Nazi for me. San Antonio is too far for me anyway.

AAF is just up 79 from where I live. I have been there a couple of times. Matt's setup is really awesome. Just keep trying. They will get in touch with you eventually.

Diatomaceous earth is also used in water filters of all sorts. How and where did you spread it?

I need an office chair that is adjustable especially for height. We re-configured our computer area and I built a new desktop. My old chair is about 4 or 5 inches too short. I am looking to spend $25 or thereabouts.

As long as we're begging, can I beg for a 216 watt T5 fixture with a built-in digital timer? And I don't want to forget the bulbs!

I also get tired of the begging. I think it should be illegal for panhandling on street corners, even if they supposedly represent a church. BTW, my wife is from a small town called Buffalo just outside of Springfield, Il.

If the yellowish floodlight doesn't give me a good growth, I have a Current Powerbright LED I can try as I am not using it right now. It looks like this:

I had another CF spotlight so I changed out the one I was using. The first one was very white with a blue undertone. This one is much more yellow. Which one will encourage more algae growth - the white or the yellow?

I've seen that before but the part I don't understand is the last graph. Unless I am misreading it, it shows that all brands are high in nitrates, phosphates, and ammonia. What am I missing?
