I've been watching too many of your videos. Stop making me want to spend money on equipment!

that conclusion was not presented in his work, but anecdotal evidence supports that claim...

Anecdotal evidence is circumspect at best. Please provide proper references to back up your claims.

  3. ^^^ What he said. $25 to sell hundreds of dollars of gear? I'd make that investment in a heartbeat.
  4. That Red Dragon acro is highly overrated.

Ah but the potential... it could be the reddest acro on the planet. Not?

if it was fire engine red maybe. All the pics I've seen it is pale red. And it is all one color. For that much hype I'd expect some other colors mixed in.

I have a frag coming in as part of a pack. I agree it could be much more red. So hard to get red sps to retain their color.

  5. I'll make sure I bow this afternoon when I stop by.
  6. Great stuff. The requirement to be a premium member to post in the for sale forum will help turn away the people who want to free load off the board. It will also get rid of the people who show up with 1 or 0 posts and put up things for sale and think they'll actually sell it.

At least they didn't ice the kicker again?

  8. I'd either get a drilled reef-ready tank or have your tank drilled. Nothing beats doing things right.
  9. I outlined my concerns here: http://www.MrSaltWaterTank.com/3-pieces-of-equipment-you-should-never-use/ I've known several people who had their HOB overflows setup with the aqua lifter (including by some "professional" tank main't people) and they all experienced a flood at some point. If you had to mod a piece of equipment to make it work correctly from the start, clearly there is something wrong with that piece of equipment. Imagine buying a new car and the salesman says, "ok, here if your new car! Now to make it run you have bang on the hood twice, turn the key a certain way and add this ADD-ON piece of equipment to make it work correctly" If someone said that to me, I'd RUN.
  10. ^^^ + 1,000,000 to this. Perfect fish club meet up place. Freshwater tank inside, Koi pond outside, Saltwater tank in man cave. Even a fence so the dancing girls can't been seen!
  11. http://www.MrSaltWaterTank.com/mr-saltwater-tanks-coverage-of-macna-2011-part-2/ I asked Hanna about similar issues @ the 8:27 mark
  12. I'm still tallying votes of whether we want Mr. SaltwaterTank there in bicycling outfit or not... No need to tally, I'll just send over my fan base...
  13. I agree but I have no room!
  14. I agree Rob...I can't wait for the dancing girls at meetings!
  15. I've been approached by one company that did it but never did a show on it. What type of pests are you trying to remove?
  16. there is science, then there is on-the-street experiences. In words of my professors in college, "we haven't taught you anything in comparison to what you'll learn in the real world"
