  1. Its not an acro... That was not the response I was expecting from you. [emoji6]
  2. Colorado Sunburst coming back real nice after the split.
  3. Half of cyphastrea rock is at RCA right now. The rock was too tall for the frag tank so I had to lay it on its side. If I left it that way, the shaded half would have died so I chipped one whole side off and dropped it at RCA. The Tys-Mahal is still waiting for official approval for next month. The spousal approval committee requires forms in triplicate and referral letters from 3 individuals not related to me or they can't own a reef tank. I hope to get approval soon! I need to unload some good Vietnamese food and some corals! [emoji4]
  4. Once you correct for your older bulbs and dirty splash guard... You're getting similar par values I get for my 8-bulb setup with 4 month old bulbs and a crystal clear splash guard over a 28" deep tank. Good deductive reasoning sir.
  5. Holy moly! The lighting expert knows his par readings! [emoji50] Alright, that was the last one. [emoji12] FTS looks great sir! The tank is getting full fast!
  6. Just no more angry faces please... I can't take anymore...
  7. I was threatened with an public outing if I didn't share this. I, FarmerTy, Mr. "I only love acros" may have somehow bought my first softie in like 5 years... Maybe more... My memory is hazy. Don't throw bricks through my windows everyone... Sometimes we all get a wild hair. Here's my WWC Bounce Mushroom... [emoji24]
  8. Hilarious! Even more funny is the Cornbred Bubblegum digi from Mdavis in your tank he got from me. [emoji23] You need to get a LOT more Jolt in that tank! He has some fire!
  9. I want to see that cherry bomb in person!
  10. I left the flush valve open on my RO/DI allowing 84 TDS water into my system for months. Lost over $500 in corals and gonis. Part didn't even cost me $3... Just required me to turn the knob back to close.
  11. I personally run at 0.03 ppm of phosphates, but I also feed 5x a day and very generously. So my system gets daily additions of phosphates but I aim to pull it out just as quickly. I would probably recommend most keep at 0.08 ppm and go from there. If your corals still don't look healthy and with good color even with 5-10ppm of nitrates in the water, maybe let your phosphates go higher. Me personally, have always had RTN issues above 0.18 ppm phosphates but that just may be my tanks.
  12. Once you get those nitrates in the 5-10 ppm level and phosphates below 0.08 ppm, you'll see some amazing color. Growth seems right on par.
  13. Let's see the future home of the 250 gallon... Basically where are you knocking a hole in the wall?
  14. Looks like everything made the transition well. Good looking 'scape!

  16. Put a tester acro frag in there. If it does fine, we can chat about getting an order ready for you bud.
  17. I'm pretty sure he's been pooping in my coffee for the last couple months now. I'm not sure about how its physically happening but my coffee tastes like blenny poop. He had it coming! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
