Greetings...I just joined this forum and I hope to get to know all the local experts (i.e. people who actually keep their corals and fish alive) as trips to the local stores hasn't helped tremendously in launching my first reef tank. I've kept freshwater aquariums previously...dabbled in all sorts of set ups ranging from brackish, to various cichlids and the quintessential live plant tanks with probes and C02 injection and high intensity lighting, etc.. You would think I'd feel comfortable diving right in to saltwater...but I confess I find the idea of live corals (hard or soft) a little daunting. Soooooo...here I am ready to soak up your collective knowledge so I avoid the pitfalls everyone has encountered. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Cheers! Ray Cone
