  1. Since I won't be able to attend the frag swap/meeting, I've decided to put this for sale. Way too much stuff on the sandbed and need to clear out this frags. 1 frag (on the right) of LA Lakers zoanthids----$25 (around 8+polyps). These are deepwater zoas and not fast growers---they take their sweet time to grow.---- SOLD I have 2 lrg. frags of tri-colored acro ---$25 ea. Not the best picture but they're gaining color back. ---Frags Sold This is what the mother colony use to look like until it got sunburn by Unprotected UV shielding from the bulbs. 1 decent frag of iridescent green pocillipora (I'm afraid this one will get stung by the coral next to it----and I'm running out of room)---- $10--SOLD. 1 Blastomussa merletti mini-colony around 20+ heads ---$25. The one on top is for sale. I have other corals that need clearing but the lights are off at the moment. Will post pics later tomorrow. **UPDATE** FOR ANYONE INTERESTED...GREEN STYLOPHORA COLONY WILL BE FRESH CUT IN MULTIPLE PIECES (IT'S TOO LARGE AND SHADING OTHER CORALS). Thanks for checking it out!! -Cindy-
  2. Sorry Pat.....I thought you had the problem LOL! I don't see any reason why people have to get their panties/underwear all tight up....I mean....whether is a suggestion, advice or from personal experience...hobbyists can make a well rounded decision and try to find a probable cause and solution.
  3. Are you talking about your SPS? which corals are been affected? -Cindy- Give us a some feedback as to your set up and water parameters; also any changes that you might of done to the tank...for ex: new addition of livestock, change of lighting......
  4. If I'm not mistaken its "High Performance Diet" HPD.

    Clam IR.jpg

Very pretty! Dave, is that a new clam?
  6. That looks like it's going to leave a scar......a constant reminder...like we need that, huh. Don't we already have a husband to remind us that we aren't "Wonder Woman" but we try j/k. Girl!! I've been there (wish I hadn't) but it happened and lesson learned....I wish I was a doctor, that way Robert could take time off and enjoy this hobby to its fullest (like me).
  7. Great video, Callahan.....Very informative.
  8. I wonder if it will have the same temperament as the Maroon clownfish.
  9. Very Nice!!! Love the dendro pic.
  10. Its an acropora digitata.
  11. OUCH!! Laura....that looks infected....clean it w/Hydrogen peroxide and put some triple antiobiotic (neosporin). If the swelling doesn't go down or your feeling other symptoms, do seek medical help. Take care of yourself, girl. -Cindy-
  12. It would help to know what size the clams are.
  13. When you mean exile tank---do you mean fish only?
  14. Here at home....I get a lot of that...when I'm reading something funny that's a 20 post thread...I just LOL!!! Automatically my husband asks "Cindy, What's so funny"....I usually say "Nothing".....I'm not about to read all the post so he'll get the joke or funny comments others post. Or I just tell him..."get over here and read this."
  15. Thanks...may I make another suggestion?....The pink skunk clownfish are also very passive, IMO, and they get along well with other inhabitants. I use to have a pair...but my husband preferred the saddlebacks over the pinks (men and the color of pink?---well he doesn't like pink much at all...LOL). This is an older pic. -Cindy-
  16. I've notice in the past several LPS seem to do well where you 1st place it....but after a while they tend to either loose their color or they're not expanding as they use to. From my observation....our tank seems to be more of an SPS dominant tank....and I'd figure my SPS have double or triple in size and if this could be the cause for LPS to react---Chemical reaction from SPS? Any thoughts? Sorry, Mark didn't mean to hijack this thread. -Cindy-
  17. Here's a pic of our saddleback clownfish. Female: Male:
