    Well, it seems something fishy has been going on with my Bangaii cardinals the stork came today! Took a minute to figure out what the alien little thing swimming in the tank was then I saw Daddy with a mouthful so there are more to come. I think it would be more stressful to try to isolate so I am going to let nature continue to take its course and hope for the best. The free swimming one was really moving around well so fingers crossed. Cigars for everyone!

    Just had my box from divers den delivered by a ups guy that's a reefer! So awesome to know my box was in great hands and I got to talk tanks for a bit. I told him about arc, so hopefully he'll join! And most importantly, I finally have another tassled filefish :D

    Found an empty snail shell. This scares me into thinking I still have a polyclad flatworm. Here's wishing I had started my tank with dead rock....Anymore dead snails and I may have to.

      How long have the snails been in the tank? Pretty normal to see die-off after a month or two.

    Anyone have a WP40 I can borrow for a week or so? Mine just crapped out this morning and even after cleaning, I can't get it to spin. Need to order one, but need some flow in the tank in the meantime.

      Or even a WP25 would work temporarily. I tried using my MP10, but the glass is too thick and it fell off.

    Ever heard of a 4" Hippo Tang jumping out of a tank? You have now! WTF!!

      My 5" foxface jumped hit the wall while I was doing a water change a few months ago. Luckily I was able to save him, after I realized it was a fish, I thought my daughter threw a shoe at me or something it hit so hard.

    The gfci that my tanks are on keeps tripping. Should I be looking for a tank problem or a house problem? It's only staying on for a few minutes at a time. Haven't had this happen until today.

    Anyone using those Cree light bulbs? Thoughts?

      We did 5000K's, as we thought the 2700's were just too warm. I know the 2700 is closer to a normal incandescent if you prefer that color. Home depot had a demo display setup at one time, not sure if they still have them but there's a pretty big difference in color.

      They're good. Turn on instantly and the color options are great. I have not used them on a dimmer but wouldn't even consider using CFL's again.

    Just so everyone knows, hydrous sodium carbonate will cause chemical burns on your tongue.

      Pool of liquid between the sump and the ATO container. I unfortunately assumed it was water when I decided a taste test was the easiest method to figure out what was leaking. I instantly regret this decision.
