      Yeah, it's got to be pretty crazy not knowing if you are going to make the team until a few weeks before the event.

      If anyone's watching the skiing his name is david chodounsky and will be in the slalom. Have another frind aaron blunck in the skiing halfpipe as well.

      Most of the A team are still vying for a spot up to the last qualifying race. There's only a handful that basically get automatic births. Last world cup race was yesterday.

    My isp decided to jack up their rates, so I fired them. I'm in a phone co-op area and they though they had me by the short hairs. Wrong, I have a hotspot on my phone. I'm not paying $95 a month for internet.

    Finally watched Blackfish last night after noticing it's on netflix now. Nothing that I didn't already know but very good documentary. Some of the scenes with the mom and baby orcas are tough to watch.

    Anyone ever fry a turkey for thanksgiving? Do you inject or just rub?

      Last time we did one, we brined it for a couple days in shiner beer, salt, brown sugar and water. Was really good although I find deep frying like this to be a bit horrifying. Make sure you use a turkey hook or a really secure coat hanger so you can get it out of the pot. It's very hard to remove if it breaks or comes loose.

    My Hippo Tang disappeared for 2 days. Had a temp drop in the tank and thought she was done for. Thank goodness she showed but up yesterday. The family CFO was going to shut down my budget for new fish if I lost another one.

      Leaning towards TW fiber right now but they're about $850 with tax and all the fees. Our current ISP who I really like is more like $1100 per month. Would really like to get under $700 if possible but can't sacrifice service quality.
