  1. Thank you Brian and Christina! The house and the tank looked fantastic as usual. Thank you Mark for a great presentation. I am sure we all learned a lot. I am glad you made it home to Fort Worth/Dallas safely. I hope the following meetings will be as successful.
  2. Used is ALWAYS cheaper. river city is reasonable. other stores around town tend to be a higher. ordering online for rock hardly ever works out to be cheaper and you don't get to pick out what you are getting. If you are willing to drive to San Antonio the former wolf reef is the cheapest(+gas).
  3. Bump to the top! Meeting today!
  4. I agree with gabe I thinkit id rtn and then algae is going on the dead spots. What is your temp? I hope things turn around
  5. Closing would be the wrong word. Closed would be the appropriate tense.
  6. Dude, I am 99% sure that is a red eared slider. WASH YOUR HANDS!!!!!!!!! Nice looking pond.
  7. I have done it. You just buy the bits on ebay, take it slow, use tons of water, and go to town. It is scary and fun. $20 a whole is a good deal. I have had a tank drilled at Binswangers. They did a great job.
  8. I have macro FULL of pods. LMK if you want some. I am in south austin.
  9. I would REALLY like to help you, but I don't think I have the right species. Does it have to be Acro? If it does I give a big COME ON GUYS AND GALS to the club. Donating frags to science is noble.
  10. Looks like we are going to have a good meeting!
  11. Does any one here belong to Gold's Gym and is interested in a workout partner? Sometimes I just get bored at the gym and talking to someone might break the monotony.
  12. I would recommend T-ing your drain to feed skimmer. I don't think your skimmer will provide the necessary flow. By all means prove me wrong if I am.
  13. Up the amount of flow through the fuge. How are you feeding the fuge? Typically the fuge baffle is taller or the same height.
  14. I don't think the problem is your return pump. If I understand correctly something is stopping the water getting back to the return section of your sump fast enough. It sounds like it isn't your drain. I would try removing some of the panels from the bubble trap and see if that works.
  15. Is the tank filling up or staying at the same level?
  16. Good stuff. Nice clown pics.
  17. NICE! The aquascaping is awesome!

If am absolutely NOT requiring a donation, but if you are willing contribute that would be fantastic. Anything helps. thank you James Map: View Larger Map
  19. I am very glad they worked out! I figured they would make a difference even with the MH on.
