I've never looked for it so I don;t know who sells locally. My first guess would be to try Aquatek, River City then AquaDome (closed Mondays). Ok, I Aquadome has an Orange Linckia Starfish. They said it only grows to about 3" and is easier than the blue linkia. Anyone kept one of these?

Which starfish would ya'll recommend for a small tank (29 gallon)? I am interested in adding one to my mixed reef tank. I have a ocellaris clown, yellow clown goby, leopard wrasse, emerald crab, blue legged crabs, cleaner shrimp, mixed variety of small snails.

hahaha true......those suckers are territorial all right. They will beat the brakes off lesser fish

When I switched from PC to T5 I reduced to a 4 hour (daylight period) and increased in 30 minute increments per week until I reached an 8 hour daylight period. When I add new bulbs I plan on adding them gradually. Say you have a 4 bulb setup (two daylight and two actinic). I would switch out one daylight and one actinic at a time.
