    I went home and hooked up a huge APC UPS. Just plugged the heater and MP10 into it. It might last 4 hours....

    Looking good! How did you get your clam to stay in place? I have placed my little guy on multiple small rocks sitting on the sand bed and he keeps jumping off. I guess mine just likes the sand.

    I like the Bulk Reef Supply Refractometer, plus it comes with calibration fluid and costs a little less.

    take a look at this: GrimReefer T5 Guide - par values . I went with 2 ATI Aquablue specials (12K) - and 2 Blue Plus (450 nm i think) and really like the results in coral growth.

    I have not done this. I am interested in making a rock wall but using LR for the structure of the reef. there is a good build thread of a 20 gallon with a rock wall on the DIY forum.

    Mike, the frag I received from you a while back is turning green/blue under my T5's. I think it's a cool looking coral.

    Basically I'm trying to get rid of the orange digi. I can make a 1-2" frag for $5. I can make a larger piece of the green for $10.00. I have one frag of watermelons left: $10.00...on a cool zoa frag plug that looks like a rock.

    yea, aquascaping can be difficult. I try to make it look natural while at the same time leaving space for water to flow around the rocks, therefore helping remove detritus.
