I get orange sometimes, i get pink sometimes too. it always seems to be when i move rocks around and its been hidden it will be orange or pink, i wish it would stay but it does not.

+1 on depending what you want to grow. i tried to go to 10 t5s in my 90g and did not like the results in my mix reef. sps/lps id go MH all the way. for that large a water volume id go 400w or 2 2x250w you could do both overdrive the t5s maybe like 6-8 and add a the Mh. their are a couple unused 400w ballasts floating around the forum as well as 250s.

No, no cause. my 90g is perfect. no algea no more cyano. i do water change every 2 weeks or so. everything is growing wicked fast. honestly the tank really is perfect i have no troubles with it i dont even have to check the parameters anymore, i do every once in a wile but thats it. any the mangroves sheesh! ill have to take a pic. they have almost doubled in size from when i got them from you. i have a 40g tall for my sump and they have rooted into the mineral mud.

Well after doing some research on the Solana XL and getting some pricing its gonna be a few months before i can afford the tank i want, so in turn im going to be keeping this tank till i get the cash i need. the solana im looking at with everything is going to be 4200.00 from what i read i thought i would be able to get it for 1/2 that but not the case. sorry for the trouble, but ill repost in in a few months when im ready.. thanks all Matt

Oceanic hrmm get what ya pay for.. I like the new all in one it's super sweet and everything is auto and auto controled. From the chiller to the wavemachine. I'll go check out the one at RCA but I'm not a big fan of oceanic tanks.. My 42 was an oceanic and I wasn't happy with it..

Possibly breaking down my 90g DSA and sump. i been thinking about it for a wile now. im thinking of going back smaller like a salana or another type of rimless tank. anyway its a Deep sea neo 90g Pro center overflow with oak stand and canopy. with a 40g sump/fuge wavemaster pro wave maker with 4 MJ1200s lights are 2 250w ice cap ballasts with phoenix 14k bulbs 1 reeflux fixture and 1 hello lights retro. 6 t5s all geisman bulbs 3 VS ballasts with ice cap endcaps and reflectors. i have a super skimmer 125g skimmer mag7 return and a mag18 return, DIY chiller thanks for looking Matt Note: im keeping all my rock and live stock if i do sell the tank. i may have 40lbs of rock that may not fit. and i may need to frag some stuff to make room but most have homes already..

Yes, i have been their myself a time or two, back in the days when we camped alot, seemed we used to camp every other weekend, Now not so much. Maybe 1 or 2 times a year and it normaly involves me taking a RV or 5th wheel. so not so much camping lol

Looks like a coralife aqualight deluxe to me.. maybe 20" if so its 96watts i believe.

i tested it and its all good.. im just going to keep the mag7 inline. it works and gets the job done.. thanks for the offer.. Matt

I think i fixed it. i added a second tube with a 1/4 T fitting and made a air gap now when the pressure is of air seeps into the line. when the pump is on i do get some flow out of the new tube but it goes back into the barrel so no biggie, i had to use 1/4 tubing as its run under the baseboards to the tank i tried a maxijet 1200 but it didnt have enough power to push the water that far.. the mag is just my mixing pump anyway so no biggie.

I have an issue with my auto top off. i have my auto top off coming directly from my ro holding tank/trashcan with a mag7 pump going from 1/2 inch hose reduced down to 1/4 inch hose and run under the base board with about 20 foot of hose into the tank. well for some reason when the pump shuts off its still adding water to the tank i understand about suction and that sort of thing, but the hose is not in the sump where the top off dump in and it should be getting air in the line when the pump shuts off. its really agravating when i come home to a full sump and its dumping over the side.

Note that if the nem doesnt eat its ok, alot of times they wont eat for weeks my little bubble tips never eat, i feed them and feed them but they dont eat but their super small and they grab things every now and then but i have seen the little guy go for 4 weeks with out eatting right before he split.. if the clown is still hosting in it the clown will feed the nem too.

I recently saw a Nikon SB-400 for 90 bucks on craigslist, thats a decent price. i have this flash and its pretty good i dont like that it cant be moved its basicly stationary but its pretty quick. better than the standard popup flash.

Lol nah I have a 40g now but I want bigger like a 50 or 60 to make a 4 compartment to add a nice dsb fuge return and skimmer compartment. But I want it all in one so I can use flow vs another pump. Thanks tho. Matt
