A lot of the reason i did what i did was to have the best of both worlds, lots of shelves and lots of over hangs but still the openess that i was looking for for good flow and still have somewhat of a wall type scape for more of a part of a large reef not really a small stand alone reef, also wanted to hide the overflow as best i could.

Mike when you do it, i have a Hammer drill if you need it. it makes it very easy to drill through rock.

you just have to work at it. it took me 3 times re aqua-scaping till i finally liked it. the only time i liked it lol. depending on what you will keep, caves and overhangs are a good idea. and shelves are also a great idea to put diff corals at diff levels in the tank depending on their light and flow needs.

You can add it to a blog i believe.

Doseing Vodka will not remove hair algae. i dose vodka and i still have it. it hasnt spread but it is growing. best method is manual removal. If you do dose vodka doseing Biodigest is highly recommended.

i run Chemi-Pure in my carbon reactor. its not the elite though. its been in their for 3 months i guess. maybe i need to change it.. thanks for the tip. i did notice the Cyano about the same day that i found my condy dead, i wonder if its coincidence.

OK heres an update, i wokeup yesterday morning and looked in the tank and it was gone! no traces of the cyano and i didnt do anything. Is this rare or will it come and go that quickly? i didnt have time to post yesterday..

Dave you may be able to use differnt s/w for that router to achive the same thing, but you will need to jtag it and force the f/w into the tsop. it requires a parallel port and a jtag and a 1.2mhz xtal. if you give me the model i can see. i have a jtag and the xtal.

it has to be a rangemax model the rangemax model has a 4mb atmel in it to store the f/w. im useing a WMDR3300 here is a list of models http://www.dd-wrt.co...pported_Devices

Best thing to do for this is to get a cheap netgear rangemaxx router and flash it with dd-wrt and use it as a bridge. this will turn it into "a gameing router" for I.E xbox xbox360 you can get a Microsoft wifi gameing router built for the xbox360 if you want to pay 70-100 bucks. i have the dd-wrt flash if anyone needs it. im useing a netgear rangmaxx router for my home network so i know it works and im very familiar with the dd-wrt f/w if anyone needs help.the router may cost you 20-30 bucks at newegg or on craigslist.i didnt see mitch posted the dd-wrt f/w trick. the netgear router will take the same f/w at the linksys they use the same cisco chip.

Hrmm well that makes me think. ill have to take caution. i may just do lights out and continue vacuuming it up and do water changes. i noticed this morning that all 3 of my turbos were eatting it off the sand bed, im sure this cant be good.

Condys are that viscous? i bought one recently. but he never comes out from under a rock.

I have incressed my feeding the last week or so. i have been feeding everyday vs every other day. i think ill go back to every other day.

My flow is good. i have a red sea waver maker pro w/ 4 MJ 1200s and 2 k1s behind my rock work.

Very cool guys/gals im alittle more relaxed now. it was stressing me out a bit. did you vacuum it off the sand bed?
