  1. Can i use these vs the anchor bolts?
  2. So would that be these? I was doing 1x1 10 series for the 20g. I was actually looking st yours on r2r
  3. you wont need any for the sump if you build it, it will be water tight. But GE1 is aquarium safe i believe, but its not clear it white. stay away from anything that is mold free or mold resistant types they are very bad for aquariums. If your looking to reseal a tank RVT-103 is the rite stuff.
  4. Actually, i had not ordered anything yet because i couldn't find the correct brackets to put the corners together, they are backordered. So this is good news, i like saving money!
  5. It wont, not if you take your time, the bottles for the solvent are easy to work with they basically create a chemical reaction and for lack of a better word melt the 2 pieces together, what i have done was ordered the pieces individually for the sides, and bottom so they were good straight cuts and did the in sump area myself, make sure you get a decent thickness, but the reaction is immediate and pieces bond very quickly. use tape to get good seems so the solvent stays on the parts you want bonded. its basically like taking 2 pieces of glass and using calking to hold them in place, but there is no cure or dry time with this stuff once its on there is no moving them around. If you do it you will see and once you see it go together and see the seems and process you will feel more confident. they are real nice at Regal too, they will give you advise and tell you the processes if you ask.
  6. it was seriously like 2 mins and i saw the smoke. yeah no doubt lol its custom now;.
  7. Oops, i found out just how bright the Radions are, i was setting up the XR15 g4 Pro and burnt my desk =/
  8. You would be surprised how easy it is to put acrylic or plexi together, they use a solvent, You could easily build one with the dimensions you want and suit your needs for fairly cheap. the hardest part is cutting the material, but even then its just score and brake, or use a use a table saw with a plastics blade. you can make a nice sump for under 100 bucks with as many chambers and prob racks as you want. Regal Plastics is where i used to get my acrylic to do this.
  9. I've always loved the pearl berry and the pink lemonade, i could never get either to color up right.
  10. This weekend i built a temp stand to figure out what how all the pieces of the 10/20 stand will work. there were a couple of corner brackets that were back ordered and i didn't want to wait that long to get the tank up and running. i swap it out later once i get everything. I can say this thing is dead silent right now with just return pump running, getting great flow from the Tunze return pump might only have to use one MP10 on this tank which will be nice to have the backup if i need it. the rock scape i built didnt fit the tank so i had to break a couple pieces off and re glue to fit everything. anyway here is a pick of the progress so far, to note i am using the AI right now as i dont have the mounting bracket for the Ecotech yet.
  11. It kind of looks like vivid's Northern Lights but I'm sure Ty knows
  12. Soo.. im already have regrets about not going bigger, well not really bigger, more sumpless i know im already going to hate not having a clean top of the tank void from probs, top off equipment skimmers and what not, so im at a fork in the road, i have the rock and sand in a tub starting to cycle right now while i make my way through this conundrum.
