  4. Props to caferacermike for thinking of contacting and testing out. With elimination of heat and reducing frequency of replacement costs I think this would be awesome. Please do create the thread, I'd love to follow it and am open to testing them in my t5 fixture should you need another guinea pig.
  5. Looking for specs on the color spectrum, but I'm loving that this is available for T5's ReLED Systems
  6. I've got blue and krypto green candy cane frags available. Let me know what you're looking for quantity and price wise. I'll be driving up to Dallas this Friday so could probably meet somewhere along I-35.
  7. Check Gabe's post if you're looking to split a clean crew and don't want to wait that long
  8. Think I may wait and go with a reefcleaners custom package. Have you looked at getting what you need from them?
  9. I'm running this one (4x24w) on my 29g ($208), which is very similar sundial 30" If you're wanting to run SPS you may want a little more power or different bulbs. That said my LPS and softies are fine, I've had a few SPS that are surviving but not thriving. I think Southside45 may be looking to sell the same fixture...
  10. Luckenbach is always fun as well...
  11. That Friday (18th) is best. I plan to have my dry rock curing from first weekend in Sept on seeded with bits of my existing live rock, using Stability, having my turf scrubber running, and slowly transitioning stuff from my 29g. I'll monitor my water, but will let the cleaning crew be what predominately cycles the tank. Since I am using predominately dry rock there should be no die off.
  12. I'd be in for a mid-Sept order as well. That gives me time to cycle a bit and some fudge time if I run into more issues.
  13. Yeah, I've also heard of clubs passing them around to deal with aptasia outbreaks. They're tiny though, so I can see it being difficult to catch them if you have a lot of LR.
  14. When are you looking to order and have delivered? I know that a few of us here are going to have our 90g up and running in the next few weeks.
  15. A few years ago there was a local MAAST member who raised them and brought them to a meeting, I think he was asking like $10 a pair or something. Would be really nice to have a good source locally, heck, some of the LFS could definitely use some in their tanks.
  16. The jumping he's talking about is when the pumps are used with a wavemaker. The wavemaker constantly turns the pumps on and off. Each time the pump starts again the impeller spins up and rattles inside the housing. This is normally fine if you turn the pump on and leave it on, but when i happens 30 times an hour it gets really annoying.
  17. Yeah, the clam was cool, completely surround by GSP
  18. I voted too, our son goes there. What grade are you in Christian?
  19. Thanks to a great husband/wife/daughter host team! I was a bit late but loved getting to see the ATS, tank, and taking home some frags. You set a wonderful example.
  20. I have an icecap 660 harness and ballast, endcaps, and standoffs. The ballast needs repair, but icecap will do that for about $60. It will be a full setup once that's done. Let me know if you're interested.
