I had a foxface that died suddenly about 3 months ago. I had that fish for 4 years and it seemed happy enough. It ate just fine the night before I found it dead. Fish just die sometimes. It's part of the hobby. It also makes me leary of buying really expensive fish.
You asked about your skimmer. Do you have an auto-topoff system? If not, then a skimmer will never work correctly. The ever changing water level will continually throw your skimmer out of it's optimum setting. I had this problem for quite a while. Auto topoff systems are not very expensive. They can be considerably less than $100. See Http://www.autopoff.com or http://www.aquahub.com.
Define smaller? I have a 72 G bowfront and I was not using a skimmer. I had trouble getting one to work at all. I went through about 4 of the, I tried the "natural" method using an algal scrubber. My tank developed into the one of the ugliest on this board. People finally took pity on me and helped me get straightened out but it took adding and auto topoff and buying the right skimmer. I am a skimmer convert.
I also need a definition of "Content". Does "new content" include new responses to topics or just topics?
I can't decide which one of those I like better. Just cause I chose not to read it earlier doesn't mean I might not want to read it later, especially if it got a lot of responses. I'd rather have "Show me everything in the last 72hrs with New Content or content I have not read highlited" and let me weed through it. I think the 24 hour time limit overrides the "less desireable option" you wrote about. That's another option I'd like a few more choices. The top two choices are 24hrs and 1 week. I'd like a choice in between that.
My wife wants a flat panel TV/DVD combo for the bedroom. It doesn't have to be 1080p, 720 would be fine. I might can come up with a couple or three frags, I guess.
I recommend 3 days of darkness, and wrapping your tank in towels or a sheet to block ambient light, except for the top. It worked wonders for mine. You might want to pick up a fighting conch or two. Mine likes the stuff.
Sometimes I get sludge with most any salt when I mix the salt solution too fast. Adding smaller amounts over a longer period tend to keep sludge from occuring. I have used a variety of salts but I seem to be happiest with Red Sea Pro. I'd like to try the Bio-Actif tho.
When the weather breaks, I will run over and get them. Thanks. I don't like the rubber cups either. I was wondering if I could get the rubber cups off and use a magnet to hold it to the glass. At that price, it might be worth a try.
Can I get a analysis of these?

I think I need more flow in my 72 bowfront. I am just not sure how much more I need. I am currently running a K-2 and an SEIO 530. I'd like to borrow a K-3 and a K-4 for a couple of hours just to see how much flow I'd get with those. I want to know if the K-4 is too strong or the K-3 not quite enough. I would buy the one I like best if it is for sale.
Mine doesn't have wheels but I have been using it for about 4 years. Also, I use the largest leaf bag I can find when I mix water. They are very nearly sterile. Remember Trash Can Punch!
