      Mixed results. 50% STN or RTN even though they seem like they settle in. I've had 1 that was so chemically nasty it destroyed 2 downstream acros. Wasn't sure so I moved it and it wiped out a candy cane...

      I tried one and it STN about half the colony before it finally stopped. That's the only one I've tried though.

    Is it just my impression or is the reef display tank at Aquatek looking "less than optimal" under those LEDs?

      Does look different. The verdict is still out for me on LEDs. Too costly of a lighting change for me now without seeing a mega-awesome tank lit by LEDs. It looks cool (for an alternative to actinic lighting), but the jury is still out for me to use it as my main lighting.

    You would think that with all of the people on RC, there would be a better selection of corals for sale in the classifieds.

      part of the issue is that a lot of people won't ship and RC contains a wide spread group of hobbyists. I've often looked but not found anything local.
