  1. Its a sign! You must build a canopy for a 40g bowfront for discus!
  2. Oh jeez, this thread has gone downhill quick... and somehow I got sucked into the vortex.
  3. Oh, you're PFP?!?! Nice to meet you man!
  4. I'll keep working on the those million dollar listings... TeslaTy does have a ring to it... but do I detect a hint of feminine tone to it? I'll give myself until the end of the weekend to come up with a new screen name.
  5. I owned two different Jeep Wranglers for about 14 years... oh, and my name is Ty. I've been contemplating a screen name change since I sold the Jeep early last year. Rav4Ty doesn't just quite have the same ring....
  6. That's just me being ridiculous. Anytime I see the progeny of my mother plate coral, I like to point it out because it makes me feel special.
  7. o0zarkawater - Is that a legacy TT fungia plate I see!
  8. Pumps are in! They arrived in Arizona and the organizers will be shipping today or tomorrow to us individually. Just wanted to post this in case you ordered but didn't get an email from the organizers.
  9. Quick update from organizers, they got an email saying that our order has moved to shipping but hasn't received tracking number yet. Best guess is they will ship Saturday from China. Thanks for your patience everyone!
  10. I'm actually pretty impressed it made it 3 whole posts before it started to go downhill from there.
  11. Indian Ocean Seabass or Central Pacific Seabass?
  12. I got this awesome anthia from Reefer74 and he thinks its a female squareback but is not sure. I really don't know my anthias so wanted to throw it out here and see if anybody had a better idea of what it is. If I had to guess, either female squareback or lyretail. I am almost leaning towards lyretail though. Any input is appreciated.
  13. Hi all, Along the same lines as the WP40 group buy with the Phoenix Reefers Community, they are still taking orders for the WP25 until they reach 48 pumps ordered. I believe they are about 10 pumps back on placing the order. Several have shown interest in the WP25 so I wanted to post here for directions on how to order. Contact one of the two organizers below. Shipping is $12.35 for one pump and $16.85 for two pumps shipped. Basically, pair up if you are only ordering one pump and send one payment to the organizer and an email with the information requested below. If you are ordering two pumps, just order by yourself. Currently on their facebook page, it looks their pricing is as follows (please confirm with the organizers): $55 - 1 unit $52.50 - 2 units $50 - 3+ units *** plus shipping https://www.facebook.com/notes/phoenix-reefers-community/jebao-group-buy-open/171797243000234 Again, just contact one of the organizers to order or if you have any questions. 14. Group buy for WP40, come and get it if you missed out on the last one!

  15. Just depends I would say. A lot of things like to take a big bite of a giant fleshy polyp. I would say my sailfin nipping it is an anomaly. Its more the dismal survival rate of the elegance coral I would be worried about. I think they are collected from lagoonal settings as they prefer dirty/turbid water and my system cannot replicate that.
  16. Nice!!! Always wanted one but my Sailfin tang told me no. Nip nip nip. Congrats on the nice specimen.

Goldfish! Haha. 10 Chromis, one percula, and one mandarin from the Reefs2go groupbuy. And it was actually $35, 10% off.

      Thats a great price!!

It may be a great price but I was a little disappointed in the size and most of the stuff didn't make it through the acclimation process so good luck and hopefully you get a better batch.

  20. My LPS are probably not the happiest they could be but for the ideal SPS tank (which most prefer ULNS), I think the BPs are doing the job I intended them to do. I was on an LPS purge anyways.
  21. I have been using BPs for 1.5 years now and am very happy with the results. I run a predominately SPS system with some zoas and even fewer LPS. One can of BPs lasts forever!!!
  22. May be getting my hands on a 225-gal tank next week. So excited!!!

I think John has plenty of space in his new place for your old 125.

I wish that 125 could be a frag tank. It would be the shortest marriage ever. Hmmm, I know exactly which wall John could put it on!

  23. Hmmm... something is out of sorts with my system. Some of my montis are starting to STN and one SPS RTN overnight! Time to run some tests!

STN on only the montis, but it looks like its stopped. One SPS RTN but that was it. Odd.
