  1. ur mystery wrasse shld take care of them also.
  2. +1 for MIKEY....I have11.8Ws/Gallon, Reef Tank. If softies are the direction ur going then the 3-6Ws/Gallon is fine, but a reef tank you'd get better results with the higher.
  3. YES, DEFINTLY the 20K is ALOT more white. Thats what my 20K Reeflux look like. Im fixn to expirement with K values also, i may post a pic here of the 2 -vs- eachother. The difference is that the Reeflux 20Ks are a full spectrum 20k from 10K-20K where as all other bulbs target a specific K value.
  4. hhhmmmm.....so as of late there has been alot of PPL (atleast 2-3 others) I know of that have been having the same problem. I dont believe its the white ring diesease. If it were me i would cut the coral just above the white ringd area and reglue it, the cure for white ring so happens to be to put superglue around the area above the ring to seal the coral off. So by cutting the coral and reglueing it this is what u are doing. Dont wait to take action, the other ppl did wait trying to do WCs, Carbon, GFO etc..CUT and RE-GLUE make sure to cover the whole end of the fresh cut area with superglue. This is just my observation, If the coral isnt being stung then its something wrong with the coral. Matt use ur best judgement, do what u feel is the correct thing to do.
  5. ya keep them, got a pick of scoly
  6. keep the crab its an acro crab. thats his home. they r cool to have the other is a hawaiin zebra crab also know as the left handed crab
  7. could be the reason, if u hv alot of dosile fish that lay around and relax the MIGHT be able to catch one. He is good for algae though.
  8. u want me come by n morning? Channel locks wouldnt frag, DESTROY maybe. I do need to frag stuff.
  9. defntly kepp AWAY from any other rock work that u dont want it on. It will over run all the rock in time.
  10. i got a pair of channel locks that will take care of it as well Mark. If u need i can bring them by or u can come get. LMK
  11. Chris make the canopy tall enough for the ability to move the 400Ws up so theres atleast 12"-18" from bottom of reflector to the top of the tank. That will give u enough room to acclimate any new corals. And 3-400W thats gonna be alot but is do-able. I hope u have a chiller ordered, atleast a 1/4h or bigger, a 1/3h is what id get, wish now that i would have went with a 1/3h. Also your gonna wanna vent the cnopy outside the living area BELIEVE me!!!

      mcallahan

its all (and more) available online.

Clint..scrapbooking is your cup of tea. Remember, the more you scrapbook, the more old ladies' wills you can get into and you'll know their kids so if any of them are missing teeth, you know who to date next.

The silver lining is that you can get a new LED LCD or DLP. Sell a few corals and you'll have your first payment.

  13. Yes i believe leaving the cushion outta the flooring isnt a good deal, I have seen ppl take a skillsaw with a masonry blade, set shallow, and cut slight grooves into concrete. Make it look like wood, Stain it to the color of wood u want and there u go. Also seen designs like a star, border on the edge of room, anything and everything. If it were me Thats what i would do. My office will be that away soon.
  14. u still want that coral INNATE
  15. MAN thats one nice clam....i want the scoly but cant get wife convensed.
  16. RCA has blue LED lunars. depending on how much coverage u want and the height, one maybe two will do fine. i have 3 on my 120G and they look nice.
  17. ya, RCA has the kind that look like a fising real, small black line. I think they only hold like 15-20lbs thought.
  18. i need to cut my colony of sunset milli, the frags will be atleast 1"+, maybe even 2 pieces that size on a frag plug. Probly make 3 plugs total. LMK if anyone is interested. $30 per 1", when its available online it goes from $65-$80 per small fragment.
  19. Lookin GREAT...cant wait to see what the thing looks like finished. Are u gonna paint the inside bottom of stand with KILLS or something on those lines?
  20. did u get it from Shane at Fishy Business?
  21. i can bring over my fence charger for cattle, and wire, and we can put a wire across porch, believe me he wont stand up to quick. If theres anything i can do to help ya LMK. The motion sensor is only like 12-18 dollars. Just wires inbetween the power on light circuit. When it senses motion it completes the circuit and turns lights on.
  22. CIndy and Robert, Is that end of the house dark at night? If so buy a motion sensor and wire it to the ourside light on that end of house so that when someone walks up the light come on and back off after 10 min of no movement. I did this to my driveway cause i had someone break in my truck twice even witht the dog right next to it. Once i installed sensor on lights no more problems. I also got camo for hunting, i could come set out a couple of nights and tase him, hell shoot him in the knee. JK...U know me, if u mess with my familys well being its not the wisest thing to do. And i dont ask questions.
