jsut set the jar lid open in ur tank water to bring the temp up(30min or so). then just add a little or ur water to jar at TIME. for about 30 min or so. Then pt him in. If the jar had a lis he is probly dead due to lack of oxygen, depends on how full the jar was.

if its carpet underneath the stand (no bottom), u could take a porta pwr and lift it and put caster plates underneath each end and just roll it outta the way.

@WILL---take 35 north to HWY 79 and take it out to Taylor. When u get to the bridges in Taylor its only about 1/4-1/2mile on left.

deftntly worth gettn under control, they will drive u crazy trying to kill them once they start spreading. Ampt-X workd the time i used it in my old tank.

ya, if the tank can be lifted all at once(stand and all), u can use the movers like Hydro used to move it. Makes it easy. I dont know how the stand is built. If i saw it in person i might could give u an idea.

the bottle will work for some fish, my 6line wouldnt have anything to do with the bottle when i tried so i borrowed the Mannings fish trap and within a week had him caught.

thats cool too, it'd nicer to have a bulkhead at either end of the corrogated pipe, thats pretty neat. Buy grey PVC instead of white and be a little disguysed.

i understand, if this is gonna be ur dream tank the $400 is not that big an issue. Yes its $400 but if ur not happy with it then its worth the extra. Being a new tank i wouldnt mess with knockn out the back glass either. Cant wait to see the new build.

cut out the back glass and rplace it with 1/2" black PVC sheet its easy. Just cut out silicone and remove or just cut silicone and bust it out. Either way no big deal. Sealing it back is easy. u can leave teh rim around the top of the tank that away.

if i do another tank this is the kinda overflow ill hv axcept it will be on the back of the tank and the grille grate will be the back of the tank. It will be the full lenght of the tank and have atleast 4 returns to sump. Just makes tank aquascaping easier.

cool, i hv friend in Ireland. Good to hv u here. Id get it all cycled and then aquascape and start adding SPS if ur going that route or LPS if that route.

i bet ur PO4 #s are off the chart. Id get a little reactor and put some rowaphaus(GFO) in it. maybe even 2 reactors and put carbon in the other. Gotta get it under control or it will make u wanna give up. Thats not an option RIGHT?

that is sweet, gives me thoughts of a new project. But just a lttl chnges. That is realy an awesome job. u gonna fill the dead space in the back /middle of tank with live rock or make an islandwith it open? Any ideas
