24/7. mine is setup so that it doesnt overflow when i turn the tank off to feed, but skimmer keeps running.. i feed the fish let them eat for 15-20 minutes then back to normal. All the while the skimmer is running but the sump is turned off.

Agreed. Its even better when u get a commercial grade 1.5hp chiller and it only runs half the time of a small chiller. I got tired of my 1/2hp chiller running all the time. And now if i wanna go bigger ( take wise) i have the chiller for it. Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2

I recently took out 8 T5HOs and replaced them with 10/blue and 10/wht LEDs, seems to me my colors are doing better across the spectrum. I do have MHs as well.

good to c u reply Mark...water husbandry is very key. Seems I have always been able to take a browned/greened out coral and in a month or so color it up. lighting helps also. I got cheap and put a set of MH bulbs I had ran for around 6 mnths back into use and I can tell u my corals suffered. these r JMObservations im not a scientist but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night

they will be close to the color, the pink will probly change a little green and take some time to get back to pink, If the polyps are the color in the pic it will be awesome. They only had 3 frags so if Clynt buys 2 and I buy 1 then we would have to see......

kinda like this one im looking at, body is deep maroon with fluorescent green polyps.

looks awesome Clynt, kinda reminds me of ASDs defugo that turned out not to be that good. I hope this one stays the color it is. I saw this coral but was leary of it. I have a coral that has the same color polyps and the coralites are orange with a silverfish green body. Polyps look turquoise.

here is a coral I got about a month ago, it a realy nice smooth skin with white body, purple tips, an bright white polyps

look like lived harvest from the ocean. I have bought quit a few colonies from AAF in the past and have never lost one. And usually u get a cool acro crab with them as well, there are 4 in the 3 colonies I got and one emerald crab. They look very happy today, no sliming or browning. Hopefully when they color up I have some gems.

when I had my 8 T5HO combo I had 2x 450mn blue, 2x fiji purple, 2x daylight (6500K), and 2x aquablue. Had a really nice crisp white with a blue hue.

a few different places, Indonesia-Australia-Marshal Islands. no plans yet, one mille is green base with fluorescent green polyps, one is pinkish red with bright red polyps and pink coralites, the other is yellowish green body with redish brown polyps. Once they color up I will post some better pics.

all milles, the clam to the left is a 4" to give u a perspective of size.

my twin brother brews, he has won a few contests from Cali to Colorado to Chicago. He makes a realy nice honey blonde ale and an IPA that's realy good as well.
