  4. Another vote for Eheim. I've got a 1260 that runs about 400gph at 5.5ft. Used one almost continuously for 2.5 yrs without cleaning and never had a lick of trouble out of it.
  5. Anyone have a hob filter I could borrow for a few days? Bigger the better.

  6. The only thing I can suggest is to get rid of the Anthelia and GSP.
  7. Great build thread. You've raised the bar on build threads.
  8. Just don't leave 'em in the back of your truck on the way home. Yup.

I hope you keep the glass clean on this one :)

  10. You'll need a net (small tank like net, not a giant fishing one), a bucket and air bubbler, a head mounted flashlight (with red light option ideally), sturdy shoes ( no flip flops), and a fishing license. Go all the way out to the end of the jetty, dig around between the rocks.
  11. Anyone using a BML fuge light?

  12. My understanding of the system is that the emergency drain remains above the water until the main can't handle it and submerges the emergency.
  13. Do you have 2 submerged drains? I seem to recall reading that running two of them made it tough to balance.
  14. What kind of drain system are you running? Any clogs in the drains? This sounds more like a drain issue than a return one. Unless your pump is going bad and starting to ramp up and down. Which would be unusual IMO.
  15. How old is your tank? Manual removal, frequent water changes, gfo/rowaphos/phosguard will help.
  16. I'm selling my nano wave box. It's the 6206 model and comes with the 6091 controller and magnet mount. Made a great wave in my 75 and is rated for 40-158 gallon systems. It can be mounted forward facing or lengthwise. My 215 is too big and therefore I don't need it. It's gotten a good soaking in vinegar and is ready to go. $200 obo Pic from the Interwebs.
  17. Anyone know where to buy Bosch Rexroth tubing in town?

Ebay is working although it's not the Bosch brand.

  18. Looks great! Question (or 3. And I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere.); Is it camera angle or does the chamber on the left only have an inch left in it? What are you doing for overflow capacity in the event of a power outage? Siphon break way up high on your returns/drains?
  19. Almost made it to the Over The Hill Club! Hope it's been a good one for ya!
  20. The latest FTS! Ok. The REAL last FTS. 4/14/14 Yesterday, 5/9/14, I got a call from SWMBO that she found water on the floor by the tank. No biggie, sometimes Mama Clown or others will splash water onto the floor when feeding. Ha! Woke up today and found more water on the floor. About a pint. Oops. Initially we thought it was the FW tank but, after a few minutes of digging, we found a leak coming from the bottom front seal of the tank. Moved all the livestock to 3 Rubbermaid tubs. The giant rock of palys and another with em growing on it are in the tub with the lid on it. I won't shed a tear if they all die off. I did move some stuff to the 20g due to space issues in the tubs. The hunt has begun for the replacement. Looking for something in the 6ft/180g size.
