  1. Tank is 69.4 degrees. I might want to think about putting a heater in there, I built it to have no heat from the equipment, apparently it worked.

  2. Had a great dinner for my birthday! Time to relax :)

  5. I set up my calcium reactor! I found a leak on my calcium reactor! I tore down my calcium reactor! I feel like I made no progress today.

      The leak was due to a failing uniseal. Aftrer research everyone has siliconed in that uniseal since it never needs to be removed. I've got it working perfect this morning.

  6. Apparently I had a suicidal rock crab, caught him three days in a a row getting stuck in my pump. This time I was too late, but I think it was darwin's choice.

      No damage at all, each time I moved him back to the rocks he lived on for month, he had to jump two sets of baffles to get to the pump.

  8. Kim, If you can not figure it out I will set it up when I am over there measuring for your sump as soon as I get back in town. Can also build your manifold since it will be running reactors and such at the sump level.

  10. Tell us your tricks! I can not for the life of me get an Iphone to take a pic like that. So ready to turn my iphone in an aquascape and get a new phone
  11. They probably have an S3 or similar phone, I can see it getting those great pics! (makes me want to trash my iphone each time I see good phone pics)
  12. House smells horrible right now, drilling holes in tonga branch to mount it all together with cement. Hoping it works out good!

      I've got only a couple more chunks to lock in and then I think I'm good, but I have extra tonga left over. If you want to stop by and see if your mind see spots to put it I'm game otehrwise I'll figure out a second shape to put in there with the extra.

      strictly fish is pretty impressive. Exotic aquariums used to have a bunch of cool tanks and designer corals..

      oh, if you happent o be in the miami beach area at any point, Havana 1957 and Hostel de Romana are fantastic places to eat and people watch.

  16. You really should be getting a kickback from Tapatalk.... Fixed your post but seriously, dont change it? I like to be able to like the posts that are helpful in my mind
  17. weird thing I noticed, which isnt a bad thing. As a regular member I can only "like" so many posts per day, however once I reach that limit I can still go onto tapatalk with my phone and continue to like posts that I like. I would hope this doesnt get changed since its not hurting anything but just thought I'd share.

  19. to think my apex sat on the carpet floor next to the tank for ~15 months and I flooded a few times. out of it all I lost a meanwell ballast which was suppose to be the only thing that was sealed
