      yes as it needs a way to sense water level. This is usually done through float switches

      or you can buy an ATO and plug it in to the apex :)

      Just use gravity and a float valve. I've never had issues compared to my jbj topping off 10gal at a time on my last tank!

      That was my thought as well. Bryopsis turns brown/reddish when it's dying.

      We just drilled our 180, it wasnt hard at all, though we were terrified to do it.

    i got some mexican turbo snail last week and they ate all the algae so my tank looks great. But now they turned there eyes on some of my micro algae. $25 lost but a small price to pay for a clean tank I guess.
