  3. is it for your 4 runner? If so I have the same vehicle and there is a reciever hitch sleeve that came with mine you can use. If not I also have a couple I use with my pu with different offsets
  4. I would like an undata frag if one is still available
  5. I like recirculating style skimmers bcause they are supposed to be more efficient. I gravity feed mine which saves a little elec.I would get one rated higher than needed but still fits comfortably in the sump for ease of maint.an Ato is a big plus, constant water level helps keep skimmer dialed in.Skimmers with a GATE valve also help with fine tuning.Ball valves are better than nothing but a gate valve works way better.Look for a reliable, energy efficient, quiet yet powerful pump and or pumps.consider the availability and cost of replacement parts.A big collection cup that is easily taken off and put back on without much fuss is nice. The twist & lock is pretty nice on the deltec I am using right now. My cup has a drain port on it but I do not use it. The cup is large enough to hold a weeks skimate . After a weeks use the neck should be cleaned anyways to maintain efficiency so no real need for the drain port feature.
  6. I will take the wrasse and the tang if they are still there by sun or mon.
  7. I was getting that red slimey stuff pretty bad a few month back. Especially twards the end of the photoperiod. I have tons of flow, use ro/di, did water changes ect bla bla bla. What finally stopped it was when I redid my rockwork, there was a TON of detritus trapped under my rocks feeding the stuff. I also stuck a few powerheads behind the rockwork to keep the stuff from collecting. I put the powerheads on a timer so once a day at 6pm a big cloud of fish poo erupts from behind my rocks, falls to the sump where it settles and can be easily removed during water changes. Its like flushing the toilet once a day wether you need it or not. O ya, everything in my tank looks much healthier since and I no longer have a nitrate problem. sulpher denitrator for sale soon!!!
  8. You can just take a hammer to some of your existing lr to make some rubble pieces
  9. I have king midas zoos I would trade you, but I will say they are kinda yellow kinda green in person. to my eyes anyways
  10. I like blue and dont care if the coral grows slow so 20k radiums it is.
  11. thanks, the ones that look like ppe's are jokers.
  12. hey andrew, me likes the blue ones alot. where did you get them? heres a few of mine
  13. that sounds like a good idea! I found a rock in my fuge covered in gha.(horror!!) I would have tossed it but there was a few polyps on it so I put it into my display temporarily to see if anybody would go for the gha.It wasnt in there for more than 5 minutes when I took a look back at a totally bare rock with just the polyps left. I never saw what picked it clean but I know now that one or several of my fish love gha.
  14. I would check your nitrates in the tank and your source water dont forget to check your source waterI had a problem with this and I do use an ro/di unit. even 1ppm of tds gave me a positive nitrate test. mexican turbos are great eaters. I keep only 1 in my tank cause they are big and clumsy.I have a 214 gal tank. I have lots of texas rock in my tank and never had an algea problem. check for areas that collect detritus, behind rocks , sump ect. arrange rockwork and add powerheads accordingly so that detritus stays suspended and falls to the sump where it can easily be vacuumed up and away .I am 95% bare bottom so this is easy for me. not so easy with a sand bed.I skim fairly wet.I pretty much have the same fish you do plus a hippo tang sohal and a foxface. Depending on the size of your tank adding more fish would just add more poo. my tangs poo alot,a whole lot. I am not sure whats eating the undesireable algea but I would bet its the mexican turbo snail.O ya I have a lighted refugium but its full of frags not macro. I need some macro nowthat I think about it
