  1. I think your whole build thread is pure volume with 1 or 2 salvageable posts. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  2. I'll be using a Jeabo DCS-12000 which has been highly recommend by both Ty and Juiceman. The price on this thing is awesome and a replacement pump can be switched out in hours if the need ever arises. I may just order a 2nd and run dual returns with the 2nd one running at half power or just keep one as my own backup. I also picked up these food grade silicone pads for noise reduction. 3. At 5ml daily that's weeks worth of procrastinating. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  4. I had seen it but then it hides the bottle fill levels. There was another that was similar and acrylics but it was way over priced. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  5. If I can find a 4 bottle holder like this that would work and an acrylic riser could work for the actual doser to give it the height. Just gotta find something reasonably priced. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  6. Don't have a 3d printer and wouldn't even know what to make if I had access to one. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  7. Got all the acrylic cut for my dosing containers. I need to come up with something to mount and holds the bottles. The doser needs to be above the containers and it'd be nice to secure the bottles so they don't fall easily. Any suggestions? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks for the offer guys. I used steel wire grid to reinforce. Since I'm still waiting for concrete to cure and it's very cold I decided to work on my new dosing bottles by scrapping off all the lettering and drilling the cap.
  9. Milestone on the tank build. Got the concrete counter top poured yesterday. 2 1/2" thick 6ft long so it is heavy at 320lbs so I'll definitely need a hand with it.
  10. Dang I had made that comment right after making my own purchase at BRS. I did buy all the sch 80 I could at lowes but didn't know about HD red.
  11. Great job so far. Are you keeping track of the actual parts cost for the build? I'm going with a red and sch 80 grey look and just for pvc pipe and fittings i am at almost $200.
  12. I need to find someone that'll 3d print me some probe holders and hose clips. Thanks for the idea ty. Those holders are legit.
  13. Door lights wired up to turn on when the doors are opened.
  14. Stand is now painted, stained, and poly coated. Still need to install door lights and handles which I may tackle tonight. Scheduling a day with my brother to give me a hand with a custom concrete counter top for it. Tank location was vetoed due to the wife not liking the glare in it's current location so the tv went back on the wall. Tank will now live in the current tank's location which is where I wanted it originally anyway but it would of been so much easier to have 2 tanks running at the same time. Now I have to figure out how to move the current tank out of the way without fully draining it. I think I still want to buy another 55 gallon tank and make another sump so I don't have to worry about timing. I'll also need to work on the canopy next. I'm thinking of continuing the slat wood mix stain look. I just need to figure out a way to make the canopy hinged and open top. Any ideas?
  15. Great job on the tank so far.
  16. More like kindergartners since I've been napping and throwing tantrums. It's coming along finally after buying better wood for the doors that don't warp. I may have all the doors ready tomorrow.
  17. Build is slowly chugging along. Working on the stand side doors at the moment. Space for the tank has been made after selling our super big couch set and moving our tv off the wall. I'll need to patch and paint the wall then hopefully by next week I can move the stand inside. Living room is currently a mess but we just got the new couch and dual recliners. I have a side project of making a tv stand for the tv then I can move the tank in.
  18. Good luck. It'll be nice to have it stocked again.
  19. Wow no faith. I even built a guard which I had my hand on. It was so much sawdust though! I'm hoping to have the stand in the house by the end of the week but it'll still be missing the concrete counter top which I'll be building for it. Next I have to router the hinges, finish up the stain on the side doors, install the automatic led lighting, and drill for the cabinet handles.
  20. Man that sucks. When I got my last order of 5 I ended up with just 1 as well but he's still kicking at least a year later. I was looking into other anthias to try but liveaquaria recommends just 1 anthia per tank
  21. So walk into a room with 99 sick people or walk into a room with just 1 blood thirsty zombie either way the 99 were infected as well and the virus is airborne. You need to now QT yourself.
