Look at you. This is a completely different tank since the last time I saw it.

I picked up 2 of those anemones for my tank and I have had no problem with my clowns and one of them is a baby. I'm not a spot feeder as well but I keep my tank well fed so I'm sure they've been getting their food from the water column. I did initially think there was going to be a problem with them and my torch coral since it kept creeping towards it but now it's settled in right next to the torch with no problem.

Since I had my lights on the yo-yo hangers I would lower it a bit each day

How have you been slowly acclimating your tank to the lights?

Nice build. Its a totally different tank from when you first started and I'm glad my tank gave you inspiration. I would definately go LEDs for lighting. I researched them for the longest time and the growth in my tank has been awesome. I could get you free shipping and some free frags if you decide on my lights. I have my eye on a couple nice frags you have so I need your tank on steriods. looking forward to more pics as all your new frags start to grow.

That film on your surface is what you want your aqua c to pick up and if you have a pre-skimmer box on it then you'll be getting most of the gunk out. I believe with all the flow it'll actually make it a bit harder for your skimmer to pick it up since it's not at the surface but thats just me. You shouldn't start a cycle as long as your keeping up with your water changes. I didn't have flow in my tank for a whole year. I would recommend the whisper 40i since their very cheap and you can find the filters for them at walmart or petsmart really cheap. Its very quiet, easy to take apart and clean, and very easy to switch out the filter each week during water changes for a new one. This along with my Aqua C really helps keep my tank crystal clean. You will have to make a slight modification using a piece of wood to help support it since the 47 tall's top lip goes too far out for it. 5 minute project though.

I use a 38g trashcan that has wheels that I picked up from Lowes for $10. It should be on my build thread. Along with a k2 and heater. That way I can mix up to 10 gallons at once so I'm good for 2 weeks.

I went with evolution leds 1G 14k $320 from reefkoi.com. I've only had it for 4 weeks now but everything is growing in my tank fast.

AquaDome had some ORA mandarins. I tried to go the pods route as well but apparently you need a huge colony of pods to keep mandarins fed.

I could use 3 eco reef saver dry rocks if you don't mind bunching it in with your order.
